This works!! There’s a catch… the metal lip that the C-clip slides under is VERY soft metal. Prying against it even gently can distort (prevent the barrel from sliding in/out) or break off in chunks. Be careful 😅
Bless your cotton socks. I’m grateful for your help. Mine was a bit more complicated with a spring loaded set and 4 thrust washers and spring indented washers. The principle is the same , especially checking each number is aligned. I used a series from the Fibonacci numbers so I can always remember it. Thanks so much. By the way the spring clip flew across the room and I needed a torch to find it🐥
You don't need tools to set a bike lock. I know all you do is turn something 90% and put up the combo you want then I'm pretty sure you just move it back up a quarter turn. But the lock I bought doesn't have a turn clamp I can find neither side works
Mine does not have a c-clip to remove so I guess I am out of luck. It is the same small style except it is made by Supercycle which is a cheap little lock sold by Canadian Tire Stores. Oh well, thanks for the video anyway.
Thank you so much! This video helped me a lot. I had no idea on how I was I supposed to change the lock
Very nice! 👍

To much work. I'll just try to remember the code lol.
Yes that is the best method!
Or buy another or use the hack to steal someone else's.
