I got this for my first bike, it wasn’t the best choice and I don’t get why everyone recommends it for beginners. I ended up selling it and getting a H2 instead, feels way nicer to ride and it’s got a smaller engine so it’s a bit more forgiving
Dude, you bought a regular Hayabusa but you need a turbocharged one. The turbobusa is the best beginners bike... No wonder why you didn't like it but I guess h2 can work as well but make sure to ECU flash the bike for 240rwhp so you won't grow out of it too quickly.
Anton Newman thanks man, but there was no turbo busas for sale and I was thinking of turboing it but I thought why not get a H2 since it’s got a smaller engine making it really beginner friendly, I’ve had it for almost a month and just ordered a H2R ecu to make it easier to ride as it’s a bit down on power currently
I own a 2007 'busa. Remind me not to let you ride it when you come to Pittsburgh. The brakes on these first gen. 'busas weren't good enough for how fast these bikes are. I wouldn't trade my 'busa for any other bike. It ain't perfect, but it's still my favorite bike.
I own a first gen Busa and I agree with you, brakes are ok but not great, I can’t for the life of me figure out how he can’t wheelie that bike??? I NEVER purposely wheelie mine but when I roll on it in a slightly leaned back position it will rise slowly in any gear 🤷♂️ but fork seals are not cheap so I prefer two wheels on the ground 👍
P.S. mine is all stock. Nothings changed since rolling off the dealers lot. No pipes, no tunes, all stock. Amazing bike. Took how many years before it was dethroned?!! Wont be another like it.
The zx14r and Hayabusa both give you a pretty warped perception of speed. They are so relatively big, comfortable and smooth that 100 feels like 55 on most sport bikes. Got off my r1 to ride a zx14r and going 140 felt like 60 on the r1.
Busa likes 1st gear throttle pump up and shift 2nd 3rd 4th in the air has hydraulic clutch so 2nd is brutal on clutch and trany and yes you need a nice sticky tire
IDK if you got 200+ at the wheel. I have 197 at the wheel and if I grab a handful of throttle the front end is coming up even 2nd gear pulls from 50 mph.plus thats a gen 1 they barely push 160 hp with a pipe, air filter and flash tune.
Bubba is the world record holder for fastest wheelie. He is is from my hometown. He is good friends with my buddies parents. Have met him a few times. He is a great guy.
I am a little confused why you're making it look like this bike is so hard to wheelie. I have a 05 stock Busa and at about 55 mph in 1st I crack the throttle without having to use the clutch and she easily lifts the front wheel. And I don't just ride 1st gear wheelies. 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th. And with the clutch...no problem.
dunno know if getting on someone elses 15 y/o bike and ripping it is a great idea. also the k5/k6 is slower than both the bmw and the zx10r. no point in riding it. out dated.
@@juns1312 I currently have an s1krr. I'm well aware that it is slower....that bike/year was iconic...doesn't have to a leading edge bike to make it not worth riding...jmo
Gen 1 Busa only has 157-167 horsepower at the wheel with no mods. Most of the newer 1000cc bikes will out run the Gen 1 Busa. They will not top out the same mph that the Busa will.
Man I love my hayabusa. I’m a bigger guy so it’s easy to throw it around. Where’s the wheelies tho??? Shit tires!!!!! You should’ve rode mine. It’s so big it feels slow lol
That is not a 200+whp Busa. Its a stock 1st gen. I have one, lol, not 200+hp. That one probably still has stock airbox no headers no dyno tuning. Theyre entirely different once they do. They flip over under 2nd gear wot.
Did I hear the serious conversation of possibly seeing jane on a triple soon from now on?!? That would be sick! Def an all around better bike than the 400 and better sitting position/control
Your GSxr feels crazier than the Hayabusa because your Gixxer is lighter and probably quicker after start so you can feel the speed on the smaller lighter bike more than you can on the big heavy Hayabusa.
I don't see the appeal of these bikes I bought 2014 zx14 and I didn't like it at all and I've ridden my buddy's 2008 Hayabusa which was the crappier version of zx14 in my opinion. I don't know but for me, these type of bikes are extremely boring to ride, They're good at everyone but masters of nothing. Modern 1000cc superbikes are faster and have fancier stuff and more exciting to ride. But I guess if you're heavier or older dude these bikes will be great.
@@leonvanheerden8054 What so thrilling about Hayabusa? Also. You can love as Hayabusa as much as you want but objectively speaking you can't say it's the best because there are better bikes in this category like zx14 and h2sx.
This is a great beginner bike
Sooooooooooooooooooooo nothing makes killing yourself in first as easy as this bike
LMFAOO YOUD FUCK YOURSELF OVER SO FAST WITH THIS HEAVY ASS BIKE☠️☠️☠️☠️
DMoney Industry lol it’s a joke

The Busa is a great highway bike.
the real master of torque
Learn how to wheelie and stop going around frying every clutch out there

Every time I see his videos I think the same. Burning up them clutches.
Unless he is on a dry clutch, he ain’t really burning anything

I don’t know the busa is very light and maneuverable, while being a very comfortable daily driver
Dude, you bought a regular Hayabusa but you need a turbocharged one.

New clutch time lol,sick busa!.
The fuel tank shape is awesome. Please keep the front end planted on Mother Earth.
Just got my license and a cemetery plot ... Buying one tomorrow
Man the great sport touring bike, not made for wheelies made for comfortable cross country trips.
Fancy seeing you here buddy 🤣
@@PArover well well well, how the turn tables
This is one of the fastest production bikes. The reason it feels slower is because it can handle the speed without having to rush to high revs.
Now find a turbo busa and rip some phat wheelies 👊🏻
I’ve been wanting to get into riding for a while now, is this a good first bike?
No
N+O= no
Only if you turbo it
