    Thsnk you Pastor for all your hard work. Worry is a definite sin I wrestle with but the peace of God surpasses my worry, by the grace of God. God's peace be with you.

    The fourth piece of advice is very encouraging that we have better riches that we cling to: the righteousness of Christ, the forgiveness of all of our sins, the blood of Jesus that nothing can take away from us and will never rot away.

    The great theologian RC Sproul once said, "Worry is practical atheism, and an affront to God". Thank you for this great reminder to trust in our heavenly Father at all times. I like your comments about worry and work. Very good.

    I will tell you from the words of Jesus. let the worries of today be enough for you, worry not about tomorrow's worries, let tomorrow look after her own worries.. Greetings from Winifred. Northern Ireland.

    Brilliant and timely advice especially while we’re locked down in mortal ‘fear’ of the Delta variant sweeping us all away. Thank you.

    1. Jesus makes fun of people who worry. ("I worried about being short, and now I am tall." Pah-leese!)
    2. Replace worry with work. (When you are busy, you won't have time to worry.)
    3. Worry is the liturgy of idolatry. (Fear God, not outcomes.)
    4. The confidence of Faith is the antidote of worry. (If God gave us Jesus for our eternal salvation, surely He will give us a piece of bread, right?)

    I hear you Pastor and the words of Jesus but I just dont know how to turn it off. It would seem that worry is my body telling me to be on the look out or to fix something. I agree that worry in itself doesnt solve anything but the concerns still exist. So I need to work at them. I think that could send me down another angst ridden path. I cant work enough to fix all the things I currently worry about. Its like worry is the overflow of the things I cannot fix. Ok you say, give it to the Lord in prayer. Then what? Stop working on the problem? Nope, cant do that. I feel like I'm chasing my tail. For now, I will hang my hat on the fact that the Lord tells me NOT to worry and will continue to try and figure out how. I worry I wont find the answer 😉

    This a rhetorical question brother we have to plan for our future life on earth ,

    • @RobertEWaters
      @RobertEWaters 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      But not to worry about outcomes. We can plan all we want, but God is in control of what actually happens.

    I don’t understand why anyone who has faith would ever bother with worry. If they hold Gods word as the truth then it’s obvious He knows what’s best and will make sure we have at the least enough wherewithal to survive. Jesus said when individuals have reverence for any part of this world the Father can not exist in their hearts. This is a grave warning to all who seek salvation because if you allow worries to rule your motives the frequencies of your soul will not achieve the harmonic balance that is necessary to escape the firmament. Unfortunately this world is actually a prison. The adversary being very clever in his deceit has engineered every step we make to ensure that we are obsessed with worldly things. Isn’t it interesting that a subject such as worry gives us the insight we need to achieve salvation. This video hit right to the core purpose of what the battle of souls is all about. Trust your faith people, don’t put much value on organized religion because institutions are made by man, love this process, don’t lose patience when something goes wrong. Is better to expect the worst as it is the more common outcome , and Praise the Glory of the One True God when things go smoothly. We are all blessed if we choose to see it.

      There is a difference between worry and concern. We can be concerned for others and that leads us to pray for them. Worry is just thinking What if, What if but never turns to God.

    If you had said to Job ,don't worry he probably would have decked you. I bet Jesus himself would not have said don't worry to Job. For some people the idea of not worrying is ridiculous. Pastor, please do not take scripture that is generally true and assume that it's always true for everyone.
