    Thank you for posting these little known of gems. As a teen aged gal of the 60's...these bring back wonderful memories. Of a kinder, friendlier, more happier time. 💖
    With so many of us elderly ones now in Quarantine...this is a nice distraction from all the bad news on the television. We need more of these types of films. I'm sick of all the death & destruction, doom & gloom from all the media outlets. Why do they not report on any of the good news. Like those that have recovered from the virus? Good news is better then bad any day. Much love to all of us fighting this "Apocalypse". 😉

      You're only in "Quarantine" because you put yourself there.......you don't have to stay in,you're not being forced at gun point to stay in,it's not Nazi Germany....you're in no more danger than every other year from the normal flu strain.Stop feeding the media scaremongering

      Good new, nice films and sunny days do not sell papers or films. These are not things the majority want. Just look at the covers of the DVD's in the supermarket. That is what people want, and they get it. Then they complain of violence and fear everywhere in the world.

    • @Tibbarus
      @Tibbarus 4 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      Jn br it’s worse than flu. Deadly for older people especially. Quarantine is the best place to be, to be completely safe. Yes the media. The biggest stirring pot there is. Only bad news sells these days and if it could be good they’ll stir it till it’s bad. They sure were better days back then. People had respect for one another. That all got lost somewhere down the line. Not your fault though eh!

    Quaint, is the word for this movie. Nowadays it’s hard to believe that a world like this actually existed, and in our own lifetimes.
    I suppose it’s the hypocrisy involved in that kind of production that has allowed the deterioration of society that we have today to develop.
    And bryanston was a serious producer too! Unlike some

    Later in the movie when they are grumbling about the wealthy yachtsmen, they mention positively about socialism and communism. My parents lived in the Soviet Union and what some people don’t realize is that the people that were at the top politically, even though they were supposed to have the same things as every one else, got to have the best of everything....just like the richest people throughout the world.
