    It would be hilarious if this technology reached a point where it was better than groomed snow, and they end up having to clear the slopes of snow in winter for people to buy tickets.....it would be like a twilight zone episode

    • @arizonawildcat3821
      @arizonawildcat3821 6 ปีที่แล้ว +33

      Nothing will be better than groomed snow. Second alot of people like skiing because of the freedom on a mountain, the surroundings and atmosphere you don't get with synthetic shit. And thirdly, it would be way smarter to put this on a mountain where it doesn't snow so it eliminates that issue, if it were to be better than groomed snow, which it will never be.

    • @hamorsteak
      @hamorsteak 6 ปีที่แล้ว +5

    We have this in Wales. However, it has been disused for sometime. Everything was rusted. It's in the middle of nowhere and I stumbled onto it while hiking in the mountain. We thought we have discovered a secret base. However, the slope is so step I wonder how they ever stop at the bottom.

    I learned freestyle snowboarding on a slope like this, looks a bit silly but it really does work well, it's actually harder than doing it in the snow so it's a great way to learn quickly, your technique needs to be much better than it needs to be in real snow.
    (You also learn quick because falling hurt like hell ;p)
