My name is Selma. I would like to know about LIHTC 40/60 Set-Aside rental housing assistance in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I recently moved into a senior citizens apartment for low-income they used LIHTC 40/60 Set-Aside rental housing assistance. I have a question. My late husband was a veteran in the Vietnam War. When he died, I was left with just my social security income of $1,266.00 per month because the last job my husband had at an art institution school embezzled all the money. Needless to say, I have been living with family for three years. I finally was able to move into a low-income senior apartment. Now here comes the kicker: I applied for VA DIC and death benefits last March of 2023, just a week before I was going to sign the lease papers. The Veteran Administration deposited roughly about $25,000 and an additional $1,612.00 monthly for the rest of my life. I now receive approximately $35,000 annually. I informed the manager that I will be receiving $1,612.00 a month in addition to my social security check. Do I have to report the lump sum to the housing manager?
Hello I went to visit the place CGP&H this is the place I get my apartment on Marc-2023 to meet someone can answer my questions but the reception told me to email them I have questions about if I get layoff from work how I can pay my rent?
Hello, if it’s a LIHTC program you will still be responsible for the rent even if you get laid off. If you’re receiving subsidy and paying 30% of your income, then your rent portion will adjust accordingly.

So sorry to hear that. I suggest that you reach out to the developer both via email and phone to get more information as that is an unreasonable amount of time.

Hello, for LIHTC a 1 bedroom unit can be occupied by up to 3 people.
