Coronado Island is great. My aunt and uncle lived on the island since the seventies. I know you have left already, but it is great at Christmas! Rent a paddle boat and go up and down canals. Everyone goes all out in decorations it's just beautiful ❤
I know you guys are probably super busy keeping up with Matt but it’s good you see you putting out your own content again! That RV resort looked like a true resort! That hotel looked amazing too and probably super expensive!
My dream is to travel the country with my two cats. Neither of them super okay with moving into something different, but I’m still excited! It’s so good to see y’all making videos!!!
Great video! Nice campground in San Diego. Campground looks like it has a lot of amenities. Give Tucker a kiss for me and a treat. Good to see you back making videos. Love you both. See you soon! Safe travels.
That camp ground is beautiful. I LOVE how they've appealed to entire family, including pets. Tucker enjoyed his pupcake; they looked delicious. Poor Wil wanted a taste, and Jen said "No"! 🙄. I would've bought 2 of each, for sampling. 😆
Great video! Idk Jenn, I saw you running a bit on those return shots😂. We want to learn pickleball one day. We’re going to check out that camping resort when we go to Ca. Safe travels you guys!
Goldens are the best, we have two and while we don’t full time RV it has been fun having them travel with us. They are always a hit at the campgrounds. Are you coming to Oregon soon?
for years we stayed at chula vista rv resort on the bay and park at the back gate and the marina. this being the replacement its not for us. i would say stay at silver strand state beach, or go up to oceanside.
So this is the one thing I hate about watching other RV TH-camrs like us. They wind up releasing a video about places that we know really well, but by the time they release the video, they've already moved along!! So since you might inspire others to visit Sun Outdoors San Diego Bay I am going to leave those tips for them. And there might be a usable one here for you guys if you're still in the San Diego Area. First, Toni and I both grew up in San Diego so we know the area really well. We still winter there as we run a video production company there and have a hand full of clients that keep us busy the first 4 months of the year. Sun Outdoors San Diego Bay becomes our home port in winter to service those client. So here's our list of tips broken up into a few sections... Sun Outdoors - There is no bad space in this place. You could argue some are better because they back up to a water view, but every site is amazing. The staff there is out of this world wonderful. When you interact with them you get the feeling that they truly like working there and are there to share that happiness with you. Some of the stand outs are the bar staff. Frankie, Danny and Heather are just lovely people. Additionally you'll find that the drinks and food at the bar and café are quite reasonable for Southern California standards. This goes for the prices at the camp store as well. Yes it's expensive to stay there, but once you're in the door they don't gouge you. Chula Vista - Chula Vista is the town closest to the park. There are a bunch of things to do in Chula but one of our favorites is to go over to Third Avenue. You'll find a hand full of great breweries over there (BTW San Diego is an amazing craft beer town) Some of our favorite Third Ave breweries are Ground Swell, 3 Punks Ale House and Altitude Brewing. All of them have amazing beers. Also while you are in Chula Vista, or anywhere in San Diego you need to go to a strip mall taco shop. Find a shop with the name that ends in "Berto's" places like Roberto's, Alberto's, Jilberto's are all contenders. If you walk into the place and your first thought is "I shouldn't be eating in this place!" then you absolutely should be eating in that place!!! Order a Carne Asada Burrito if your hungry, order a California Burrito if you're really hungry, order both of these and an order of rolled tacos if you have a friend to share with. Keep in mind you have to eat these items when you buy then, they are NOW foods, not for later foods. If you want to take a shot at making your own Carne Asada Burrito there is a Mexican grocery right across the train tracks from the rv park called Manolo Market. They have a Carnicaria with amazing meats including Carne Asada. They also make their own tortillas which are amazing! San Diego - There is so much to do in the San Diego area. Of course there is the zoo which is a much see. And there's wonderful beaches. I would recommend La Jolla Shores as the beach to go to if you want a relaxing time on the water. If you want a party try Mission Beach or Pacific Beach. But San Diego is not just all beaches. If your more of the mountain type head out east to the town of Julian. Julian is a lovely mountain town know for its apple pie and apple cider. And if you go to Julian you must go to Nickle Beer Company. It's a couple miles out of town but their Jalapeno Gold beer is a must have. It has the flavor of jalapeno but not the heat. The only way to describe it is it's like drinking a bowl of ballpark nachos. Alright, there's a ton of stuff to do, and see, and drink, and eat. I hope you guys are still close so that you can do some of these, but if not keep it in mind for the next time. Safe Travels!!
So with all those campground amenities, what did it cost you a night? (If your gonna review please say how much a night it cost you!). Thx for the tour n history. 🍻
That's some serious coin for an RV spot where you can reach out and touch your neighbor. I am headed to Ocracoke Island NPS campground in a couple of weeks. Always in the top ten of beaches. $18 a night. BTW: Go to Soledad Natural Park awesome, and easy to do.
Question for Will, is it necessary to have a DRW truck to pull your Alliance? I’m looking at the same model and thinking of ordering one around the time of next years Tampa show. I would appreciate your thoughts please.
Yes! Do your homework. You need the stopping power for a big rig, the stability as well, it’s smarter n definitely safer! They got a dually because they know all this. Look at the specs of the trailer hitch weight and the trucks capabilities, and then remember about mountains n hills for pulling. 🍻
Sun Outdoors San Diego Bay was our first camping experience a couple of weeks after we bought our travel trailer in Nov 22. The great thing is it gave us some insight into the vacation/resort style of RV camping. The bad thing is it set our expectations of campsites at an unreasonable level. This was our first RV camping experience so we had no idea what to expect. The next campground we went to was disappointing to say the least. Not because it was a bad campground but because we were comparing it to a resort so we didn't give it a fair chance it wasn't a resort but it was nice and on a hillside in Escondido overlooking the city. We're more than 20 camp trips in since San Diego Bay and have multiple favorites for various reasons and yes, Sun Outdoors San Diego Bay is still one of our favorite camping resorts and it's only a couple of hours from our home.
I was wondering how your home renovation was going? Love watching home improvement kind of shows and you two would make it interesting and what about the animals that were left for you.
I scanned the QR code to join the newsletter and it took me to Amazon to liquified toilet treatment lol
I think you two are the cutest couple. Love your videos😊
Coronado Island is great. My aunt and uncle lived on the island since the seventies. I know you have left already, but it is great at Christmas! Rent a paddle boat and go up and down canals. Everyone goes all out in decorations it's just beautiful ❤
It was nice to see luxury campground in CA and adventure, especially Tucker getting lots of attention. He's so good at that.
I know you guys are probably super busy keeping up with Matt but it’s good you see you putting out your own content again! That RV resort looked like a true resort! That hotel looked amazing too and probably super expensive!
You’re in my neck of the woods. I’m more north San Diego, actually Temecula Ca. I sure hope you enjoyed yourselves and had a Blessed time❤️
Love the Sun Resort campground. Very snazzy. Loved seeing Tucker out and about and especially enjoying his treat.
My dream is to travel the country with my two cats. Neither of them super okay with moving into something different, but I’m still excited! It’s so good to see y’all making videos!!!

Glad I’m not the only one who kisses and provides voices for my dogs 🐶 ❤
Beautiful campground. Love seeing you all. Please give Tucker a big hug!
One of favorite RV resorts. We go at least twice a year. Look forward to more Cali video’s.
That camp ground is beautiful. I LOVE how they've appealed to entire family, including pets. Tucker enjoyed his pupcake; they looked delicious. Poor Wil wanted a taste, and Jen said "No"! 🙄. I would've bought 2 of each, for sampling. 😆
Nice camp site….. thanks for sharing
Stayed there last year for a week and loved it. Will return for sure.
Wow I'm super close to that and I had no idea it was there
Great video! Idk Jenn, I saw you running a bit on those return shots😂. We want to learn pickleball one day. We’re going to check out that camping resort when we go to Ca. Safe travels you guys!
We just got back from a weekend at Sun Outdoors in Mystic, CT. It’s really pricey in season 🤯Wow, the San Diego one is beautiful!
Goldens are the best, we have two and while we don’t full time RV it has been fun having them travel with us. They are always a hit at the campgrounds. Are you coming to Oregon soon?
If you go again to San Diego try Silver Strand State Beach
Nice Rv park
We did drive in through tat Rv park your at but not our vibe.
Nice video!
Nice RV resort. Tucker is so well behaved,
for years we stayed at chula vista rv resort on the bay and park at the back gate and the marina. this being the replacement its not for us. i would say stay at silver strand state beach, or go up to oceanside.
i was in san diego and coronado last month
Very expensive there. Coronado is great, I live here so it’s not cheap. What do y’all think about the new Brinkleys?

I’m disappointed that you guys didn’t use your “Tucker” voice when the waiter came over.😁
Right?! I Love when Jen does her Tucker voice I get a kick out of it lol

Winnebago Vista
it's like a parking lot neighborhood.
I was wondering how your home renovation was going? Love watching home improvement kind of shows and you two would make it interesting and what about the animals that were left for you.
Let me know what do you think about the Winnebago Vista
Crazy design not like the northeast
You didnt show much about your "luxury stay" in cheap chula vista.
I think the place looks lame lol My mom and aunt and fam will be here in two weeks and i opted out. It looks like an arid desert.
Hey where's Matt? He talks smack about pickle ball all the time.
This girl is cute
lol, I unsubscribed because you haven’t put out a video in three months. 😅
