  • Tips, tricks and random snippets of my DAWless workflow. This time I show how I use breakbeat loops and use trigger conditions to add variation in the drums on the Digitakt.
I'm writing and releasing one DAWless track a week in 2022. Get the album from dannycarnage.bandcamp.com/

Easy to follow tutorial followed by a great jam! Thanks, Danny :)
Is that the TD-3 playing bass on midi channel A? Sounds super tight!

Hot damn this brings back memories of pitchshifter from the late 90s/Early naughties…. This was gorgeous!

Ha I used to listen to a lot of pitchshifter! I keep meaning to make a track using the free samples at the end of one of their albums.

Helpful - thanks! where do you get your loops from - with BPM already sorted into folders?

Glad you found it helpful! Those ones were from a paid sample pack I think it was Vintage Acid Breaks (or something like that) almost certainly from Loopmasters. Nothing to stop you sorting your other loops into folders by BPM if you want to though! It deffo makes it easier to do stuff like this.
