This is the story about Patick Ray Nixon, he was a 21 year old Marine who was killed in Iraq. The images of his funeral are in the video, you also see his picture and headstone near the end of the video.
Both of you are always so kind to veterans in your reactions. I want to say it's greatly appreciated, but also not necessary to most of us. We are proud to have served this country because of folks like you. God bless you. 💞💓🇺🇸
Very nice reaction folks. Great song and Trace has done a lot to raise both money and awareness to help the wounded vets and Gold Star Families. Here is another song from Trace. This is a live performance at the CMA awards. He is backed up by the West Point Glee Club. It is called Til the Last Shot's Fired. Hope you enjoy!! th-cam.com/video/GSEauSGFK74/w-d-xo.html
Awesome job y'all, as a marine veteran I appreciate y'all honoring Veterans Day, Trace Adkins- Till The Last Shot's Fired (on the CMAs with the West Point Glee Club ) is very very good
Thank you sir for your service sir!!! That’s a beautiful song also I’m a firefighter/first responder, but you guys don’t get the recognition y’all deserve but I will try my best to always thank y’all for your service.
My mom and dad raised 3 children all 3 of us served. We had uncles who were 1 st generation and and they served in WWII. I have a nephew who retire in a few years from the Army.
My Daddy, brothers, cousins & Uncles, along with many friends, have all served our country & my big brother & his Air Force wife are buried in cemetery like this one, here in Michigan. Seeing that flag over their casket is a picture forever etched in my mind. And the 21-gun salute, too. His wife passed first so was cremated & her urn is in his casket & her info is on one side of the stone & his is on the other side. This song is so very powerful & those cemeteries do truly feel peaceful. Almost eerily quiet & your mind & heart feels calm, for some reason. Trace does a beautiful job on this one & he has another patriotic one called 'til the last shots fired'. He also has a fun side & has some fun songs. 'Honkytonk badonkadonk' or 'Ladies love country boys' to name a few. He also has a couple fun duets with Blake Shelton. 'Hillbilly Bone' when they were younger & 'Hell Right' more recently. Love this guy & love this song that is reaching so many people. It's good to remind people of the sacrifices of so many heroes & their families.
Aussie combat vet The fallen are the true HEROES l’m nothing special in comparison just a broken vet who was silly enough to run towards the gunfire & doesn’t deserve to still be here 🇦🇺🇺🇸
My father serviced in ww2 and my grandfather was in ww1 he was 1of24who came home out of the whole division when they joined up in 1914 to fight .when i see a soldier i say thank you for your service and i cry.
Another song I think you would appreciate is The father, my son and the Holy Ghost by Craig Morgan. It is a song he wrote to cope with the death of his son.

We are all born to die, what matters is how and why. There is true evil on this earth, remember the wolf is at the door. Thank you taxpayers for giving us the opportunity to serve and be appart of something greater than our selves. God bless these United States now and forever, good ideas never die..
