@@DesignwithTP im finding hard to get it to export meshes without problems to UE, hope u cover that topic to, Speedtree cinema and Speedtree UE subscription are really different to each other.
SpeedTree Cinema is not so much for C4D exclusively as Forester is but is the name of the production model and can be exported to any other 3D package. But I'm wondering if it can be used in combination with the Forester clone ability which would expand the ability of the plugin.
Hello Tyler - Do you have any tutorials on you starting from nothing to build out a tree for new beginners? This over view is great but I'm finding myself wondering man it would have been great to see him with a new project and what would he build from scratch.
Wait Speed Tree You all left out Modo Settings. Not fair. Some of us out here are using Modo as well in our pipeline workflow. It would be nice to have Modo settings included Thanks in Advance.

I currently working on revitalizing a HUGE update for World Creator 2 which is taking most of my time. Right after that, hopefully within a month, I can start back up on this. I'm eager to get back to this project!
I have a few other videos to produce first, but hopefully by the end of the year I will launch all the videos with this tree creation at one time, so people don't have to wait too long between videos. Getting to it all as fast as I can :)
Heyy I have a problem at the very beginning.. After loading a template I cannot use my interface - e.g. the 'Add' buton is disabled. Is it because I am using a free version? Kindest regards
@@michaelwsheeler, TRUE story and fair point...but so is Itoo Forestpack and RailClone. All 3 plugins together are significantly cheaper than one license of Speedtree, as well as giving you the source data within your primary 3D modeling software (ie 3ds Max).
I haven't looked into these plugins in 3DS Max. SpeedTree is all I've tried thus far but at the end of the day it doesn't matter what you use as long as you are comfortable with the end result :) I can look into these others too!
@@DesignwithTP definitely, its all about workflow, inter-compatibility, and end result! GrowFX works great for my workflow but might not for yours. Speedtree works great for you and the crew who made Lion King. All about workflow!
I've owned speedtree license for a few years now, own almost a dozen species packs and use for all of my projects... ...the only thing I know how to do is hit the randomise button and tweak basic values xD

Have you tried speed tree for cinema 4d? I wonder how it compares to Forester.
