I am always amazed at the number of people I see who tear apart a filthy machine getting dirt and grime everywhere including in the repairs they attempt to make. Good Job!

I was a diesel tech for a while. One of the most common problems the occurs is that people don’t clean under or inside of their cab/engine compartment. Build up always happens and if a rock is under the oil pan it will wear a hole through the oil pan and blow the motor. Also the build up is a fire hazard as it will absorb hydraulic oil, which is very flammable, also acts as an insulator. Causing overheating. My only advice is to back the machine on to some blocks, open it up as you did and pull the two small squares off at the front and power wash everything out.

Job well done...you should do this more often if you want your machine to work for you and hold a good value should you decide to upgrade. That was in fact the best demonstration of how to thoroughly clean a skid steers...looking forward to see more of your chanel...

You could park it on a slope and open the two large dark colored square drain covers on the front and start washing from the back it will drain out the front

Well dude I'm impressed you did that Away from the shop. I guess I'm not gonna complain anymore when I do my John Deere 33G At the shop.

I’ve never seen a skid steers as easy to clean as that. Think my next one will be JD. And I’ve seen one a lot dirtier than that. Try one around a feedlot in the spring mud and manure. That thing of yours is a piece of cake.

My cat 287b way worse from leaking joystick pilot valve seals. I’m worried for how to clean without getting computers or fuse box wet.

Nice! Where did you get the foam cannon? What were the cleaning solutions you used? I know you said simple green once; do you find it dulls the paint any? Thanks!!
