Great content. I noticed that you didn’t shock us by showing us the MSRP! 😅 As far as that Seppi mulching head, I have noticed other manufacturers like Osma, Simatech, and many more from Europe increasing their US presence. Heck, Prinoth is a German company. I enjoyed you sharing your insight and also the tour of that John Deere 333G.
Great timing on this video! My new 333G to replace my POS New Holland C345 just delivered to my local JD Dealer. Unfortunately, the forestry package comes from GR Manufacturing and is not supposed to deliver to my dealer until the December/January time frame, also waiting on the camera and other attachments to come in. I can let you know more at that point about how it all performs and if it helps. I can tell you, from just having gone through the ordering process (I loaded this 333G with everything), the exterior metal bolt on forestry stuff is different than the seals for the side panels, the hose grommets and the engine and turbo protection pieces. They are two seperate kits. The exterior kit is called the "Severe Duty Forestry Package" and the seals, grommets and engine guards are called the "High Debris Application Package." I have ordered both for mine. I will be running a new Fecon Blackhawk and the Fecon rooftop auxiliary cooler. I am doing and ordering EVERYTHING I can to make sure I do not have a burndown. I will say, a lot of the machines I see online (not all, but A LOT) where people have had a burndown, if you pull up their company and other posts on facebook etc showing previous pics of their machine, their machines are so covered in debris it does not surprise me they have had fires. Would never wish a fire on anybody, and do encourage everyone to keep a clean machine!! I all too often hear "I don't care what it looks like, it's a construction tool to earn me money" and that is just the wrong attitude to have. Especially when we are paying north of $100k for these machines now!! To me, a clean machine is a happy machine! Keep up the great videos!!
@@oleboy6956 Unfortunately still waiting for @Fecon to get it and my blackhawk done. They are taking forever.... Will let you know as soon as I do get them.
I just got a 333G with the forestry package. I ordered the 1” stucci manifold for the auxiliary hydraulics. World of difference! I’m loving it so far. I’ve run an asv rt120, cat 299, and now the 333g. I’ve had a cat burn and I’m a clean freak blow it off every day with my stihl br800 backpack blower and pressure wash it every week. All machines can burn it’s just the luck of the draw! Great video! I’m currently fabbing a cover for the rear hoses on the back. I’ll send some pictures when I get them finished! Going to powdercoat them the same gray color.
Can't those rear hoses be slightly longer with 90 degree connectors so a guard plate can be placed over them? Or a removable guard over them (2 bolts to keep branches etc from pulling the guard(s) off)
I believe the purpose for the smaller 1/2" hose and connecter is it is easier to create high pressure in a smaller hose where the bigger hose has more volume and requires a stronger pump to pressurize it.
I own an ASV RT-75HD w/forestry package. I love it. Also run a Prinoth like yours. I’m running the Stucci screw on fitting on my machine. Like it way better than the push on connectors.
A guard plate could easily be made to protect those rear hydro lines. Use the mounting points for the dust gasket top and bottom to mount a plate that extends back and partially wraps around the lines. I agree with the small hydro quick connects seems odd to go down in size.
The those spasific quick connections are the same internal demotions as the hoses. Only way to get zero restrictions is to hook direct. If you go with bigger hoses it can cause cavitation and I promise you if the technician catch you with bigger hoses and your pump fails your warranty will be no good
“Pimp My Ride” comes to mind Davin🤣 Pretty cool 333G, it’s good you can pick & choose any extras you want. I’m with you re the hoses coming out of the back of the arms, some protection for them would be good. I would think that packing in all the emissions stuff would only serve to reduce airflow & increase the heat. So many brands, models & extras to choose from, such a dilemma😱😊 Interesting video mate. Take care & cheers🐨🦘🥰
Devon I don't believe John has the Prinoth head anymore it might have gone back with the Hyundai excavator that he was doming , last video he's got that 1 fecon mulcher head for sale, a little FYI, Anywhoo another 5 ⭐ video God bless yah from Gaffney South Carolina viewer
I just bought me a 333g yesterday and im pretty well in love. I think i need the front cylinder guards & the coupler guard. where does one get these parts?
Yeah they are really nice machines. Cab is super comfy and roomy, and it is a super powerful machine. Bucket breakout force is insane. Tops all other skid steers by a wide margin actually.
I know most of the skid steer brands recommend you run an external cooler if your going to run a high flow mulcher. The ASV is the only one I know of that don't need the extra cooler on the hydraulics . I wish you would have asked about it. In my area I know that Kubota and Takeuchi will void your warranty if you don't run the external cooler if your running the high flow mulcher. All you had to do was to tell them to hurry up so you could load it up. I was expecting you to leave with it. 😁😁
@@constructionlife7034 Wow. I've never here that. But also I don't know that much about a John Deere. I do know that a high flow mulcher will cook as I say the hydraulic fluid, it gets extremely hot. The day that I picked my Kubota SVL 95 up there was a mad customer in there that had ran a high flow mulcher for some time and had done several thousands of dollars damage to his machine. And I herd the owner of the dealer ship tell him that running a high flow mulcher with out an external cooler voided his warranty. Then showed him where in the owners manual where it said it. And coming from a mechanic background I do know that it gets extremely hot when asking that much out of the hydraulic system. Deer must have put a large cooler on there machine. I would love to know was it just one certain machine they were talking about or all of there models.
If you continue to do forestry mulching you might try terex they have the same design as the ASV just a different color scheme and might be just as good just maybe a little cheaper
@@floydbolyard2736 yea I believe that ASV bought Terex but I also seen a video a while back that they are building them again Terex that is so I'm not sure who owns who now but they are just alike. That's just like Takeuchi runs a Kubota motor. Most people don't know about that.

What's the approximate cost?
@@tinysparky for the machine it was $128k out the door and for the stucchi valve it was $1774

Really cool video love seeing the inventory at Flint

John talked about his new unit well it's not new but new to him. his has the smaller drum loves it.Its spools up twice as fast and weighs much less.

We run a 333g with the JD (Fecon) head. We have the Lexan door, but that is about it. I hear they have a “debris/dust” package that is worthwhile.

do we reinforce the coolant lines on these as well?
How much extra weight does the forestry package add exactly?
