thanks for taking time to put this up i watched other video and didnt take your steps now i have issue with brakes activating by themselves when driving.
You are welcome, now you need access to a scanner to setup the steering wheel angle sensor, that is messing with your ABS and stability control. Good Luck. Please update so others will know what to do. Thanks.
Because there are 2 similar parts for this Nissan I reckon take yours out and confirm your part number. I got mine from a local online auto parts store. Good Luck.
You just need to reset the airbag, turn the ignition on, wait untill the red airbag signal turns off, immediately turn the ignition off, wait exactly 5 seconds, turn the ignition on, repeat 2 more times.
@@Welsheee That is why I made the video, I saw so many ways for this repair to go wrong. Seems just a simple swop out of a faulty part, but at least 3 traps waiting for the DIYer. Congrats on your fix.
I have made the mistake of taking the plastic part off first, is there a way of ''recalibrating'' it if i took it back out. I now have nothing working on the steering wheel.
Hi, after replacing the clock sprink the eps light stays on (both of them actually, the one with the car sliding , and the one with the car sliding and "off" under it. When i turn on the car its off, but after a few seconds of driving its going on .... Anyone know how can i fix it?
Did you fix this? I had this, managed to resolve both issues. The traction control turns on because you did not align the angle sensor correctly. The airbag lamp is on because it needs to be reset with a little nissan trick using your key. Turn the ignition on, as soon as the airbag signal turns off, you turn the ignition off, wait exactly 5 seconds, turn it back on and repeat this 2 times.
@@nekadodu7342 thank you my friend. I fixed it. I figured it out after watching your video- i just didnt put the back part of the clock spring right. It wasnt in the two holes in the middle. I opened it again and put it right this time, and it fixed the problem 🙏
That sounds a whole lot like a Cape Town accent 😃. Thanks for the video, it was a huge help
You welcome, accent is not South African, guess again.

I followed the video, but after installation, the traction control light appeared as an error.😮💨😮💨
Thank you i have the same car and the airbag simbol is blinking in the dashboard.
Where did you get the part and what is the part number?
Thank you

So what if I've already removed that plastic cover without seeing this? Can I line it back up? Thanks for sharing!
Fantastic advice though mate I wish I watched this first. I struggled with each and every point you made
Worked out after taking it all apart that I can just replace plastic calibration control holder thing

Check all connectors first, your buttons should be working unless the new clock spring has already been damaged.
Thank you, need to get my replaced so nice of you to share

Figure out if the eps comes on when steering right or left and aftwrwatds turn the angle sensor accordingly. It Will fix the eps
