I've said many times that Yoohyeon would be a main vocalist in almost any other group, but Lee Siyeon exists and rightfully holds that role.

Siyeon spends a lot more time in the studio than the other members. Because of that, you can be 90% sure that you're hearing Siyeon whenever you hear great vocals in the back. If you think about it, it's really not that sad. He came in when they had a whole discography, and other material, that he can experience all at once. It's like a feast for him right now. The opposite would be discovering them after their first or second comeback and then having to wait between each new comeback before you can get more. I'm thankful that I got into kpop when I did, about a year and a half ago. Most of my favorite groups, Dreamcatcher, Mamamo, Red Velvet, etc, already had extensive libraries. I'm still finding songs for some of them. What's killing me is having wait for the comebacks from the rookies I've come to like. Waiting for comebacks is not fun. It's like giving a man one bite of a perfectly cooked filet mignon than telling him "Nope, sorry. That's all you're getting today. Come back next week and we'll give you another bite".

YESSSSSSSSS i felt yall's reaction to their vocals going off in my SOUL. siyeon's vibrato at that high note (which i also couldn't stop listening to lmao) reminds me of the distortion effect on an electric guitar and it kills me every time. i love how this track really sets such a strong contrast between the really soft, breathy vocals in the verses + most of the pre-chorus with the heavy rap verses and just straight up explosion of the chorus, especially with the adlibs at the end. mad props to dc and their music team for that. i'm so excited for the live stages 😭

As others have said, Gahyeon is a vocalist first rapper second as from their debut it was always Dami as main rapper and Sua had the lead rapper position that were carried over from their MINX positons (seeing as Gahyeon and Handong weren't part of MINX). However Sua is now leaning towards becoming part of the lead vocalist line alongside Jiu and Yoohyeon (seeing as she hasn't had a main/noticeable rap part since Good Night) plus I believe she wants to focus more on being a vocalist anyway (alongside obviously also being our main dancer/part time choreographer lol) which is why DCC is pushing Gahyeon forward to being a rapper (thank you DCC as she is doing amazing) as the others all have solid positions already! + Yes that is Siyeon doing the backing vocals/adlibs!
Here's the thing that makes Dreamcatcher so special imo... They each have such unique voices that individually, they would stand out without a doubt, but when they fuse those voices together, something else is born. If you listen to them long enough, you can definitely tell the difference in their voices. Eg, Yoohyeon has - what I call - honey vocals.. smooth, delicate and a tonality that sticks to your ears, where else Siyeon is power vocals, hands down. Her voice has that power, control and character which you usually find in rock vocalists.
One of the best things about this song. Seamless transitions from hard hitting rap to ethereal vocals. There is no way to know who's era this song is, because they all slay. Only way to really tell is whoever sings the last note. That's about the only way to decide.
Dami is also charge in vocals... sometimes in Dreamcatcher's mv she's also have vocal lines but it is not obvious at all...like maybe 3-4s only...like emergency,emergency in Piri something like that....all of them can be vocalist...but Dami and Gahyeon is the most precious gem in Dreamcatcher...they can sing,rap and dance...but all of them is have unique way how to make shine to theirselves specially SuA... she's always spoils us with her vocals and visuals...Siyeon... she's always surprised us with her good vocals... I LOVED it too! I heard dreamcatcher was good but I was not expected this at all!! The 1st rapper has such a deep and real rap! And I LOVE the style mixed with kpop and Japan pop. And the vocals are really good! They are really really good I’m impressed.
That high note that Siyeon did had a vibrato at the end. Meaning she did that high notes very well and it's very stable, causing a vibrato. It sounds like it came out naturally since she always been stable and support whenever she does high notes. fun fact: both handong and gahyeon were added to dc as sub-vocalists bc they hadn't trained for long. since that meant getting one line per song (two if they were lucky) and sua wanted to focus on improving vocals instead of rapping, gahyeon started to rap.

YESSSSSSSSS i felt yall's reaction to their vocals going off in my SOUL. siyeon's vibrato at that high note (which i also couldn't stop listening to lmao) reminds me of the distortion effect on an electric guitar and it kills me every time. i love how this track really sets such a strong contrast between the really soft, breathy vocals in the verses + most of the pre-chorus with the heavy rap verses and just straight up explosion of the chorus, especially with the adlibs at the end. mad props to dc and their music team for that. i'm so excited for the live stages 😭

As others have said, Gahyeon is a vocalist first rapper second as from their debut it was always Dami as main rapper and Sua had the lead rapper position that were carried over from their MINX positons (seeing as Gahyeon and Handong weren't part of MINX). However Sua is now leaning towards becoming part of the lead vocalist line alongside Jiu and Yoohyeon (seeing as she hasn't had a main/noticeable rap part since Good Night) plus I believe she wants to focus more on being a vocalist anyway (alongside obviously also being our main dancer/part time choreographer lol) which is why DCC is pushing Gahyeon forward to being a rapper (thank you DCC as she is doing amazing) as the others all have solid positions already!

Here's the thing that makes Dreamcatcher so special imo... They each have such unique voices that individually, they would stand out without a doubt, but when they fuse those voices together, something else is born. If you listen to them long enough, you can definitely tell the difference in their voices.
Eg, Yoohyeon has - what I call - honey vocals.. smooth, delicate and a tonality that sticks to your ears, where else Siyeon is power vocals, hands down. Her voice has that power, control and character which you usually find in rock vocalists.
One of the best things about this song. Seamless transitions from hard hitting rap to ethereal vocals.
There is no way to know who's era this song is, because they all slay. Only way to really tell is whoever sings the last note. That's about the only way to decide.

That high note that Siyeon did had a vibrato at the end. Meaning she did that high notes very well and it's very stable, causing a vibrato. It sounds like it came out naturally since she always been stable and support whenever she does high notes.
