I Will always remember the good ol days of sweeping through every gym leader with Torchic, Combusken, and Blaziken. Especially after learning Mirror Move and Sky uppercut, you were pretty much unstoppable

Norman: Without my Machamp, I could have lost. Winona: Swampert + Ice Beam = Victory. Tate & Liza: Swampert and Gardevoir sweep. (Surf and Shadow Ball) Juan: Another goddamn trainer and his goddamn Kingdra! (Took 2 attempts) Sidney: Machamp sweep. Phoebe: Manectric + Gardevoir sweep. Glacia: Another Machamp sweep. Drake: Swampert + Altaria sweep. Wallace: Manectric and Bellossom sweep
Norman may be pretty neat for the fact that he's the only dad that physically appears in the series, and a Gym Leader Dad nonetheless, but I honestly kinda prefer Tate & Liza, probably because of the unique fact that there's two of them and you face them in a Double Battle.
