@@escapewithjay Yes, my daughter and I were fishing near our campsite on Bridge. Glad you made it to Slowfoot! Quite an adventure. We did the short, buggy portage at the rapids between Bridge and Lake Four several times, though we chose to carry the canoe overhead. Good memories of that area.
@@hubbadubba845 thats awesome im so glad you came by the channel! did you guys enjoy your trip? if im thinking of the right moment you should see when we passed ya in the part 2 video!
This is a terrific video because it takes us to a location that very few people have seen. I've always wanted to stand on an acre of ground that no human has ever set foot upon. You guys are intrepid. However, receiving a personal weather forecast from home takes away from the adventure.
If you are interested in a PMA with great Lake Trout fishing, check out Raven Lake, in the Mugwump PMA (just East of Fraser Lake). The creek from Roe Lake is navigable. The fishing is great, along your whole trip, whether you loop in from Moose Lake (Entry Point 25), or from Saganaga (Entry Point 55). I suppose you could also put-in on Seagull, as well.
@@danareed1656 there were so many mosquitos out there this year!!! i couldnt help but film the sounds😆 i really want to try to move away from music and more into ambient sound. its taking some thinking as the music is a good filler for traveling... hopefully this video is enjoyable and a model of things to come
Man what a great video; you captured the very essence of adventure itself!

Support The Friends of the Boundary Waters. Stop the foreign copper-nickel mining on the perimeter.
@@billweber1422 i dont support any mining in the bwca area. we need to keep some areas of this world pure and clean
