As of December I have drank from this well three times and am still trying to understand the severe attraction to the entire experience. Every penny is on that screen. Everyone in the dancing/singing/acting are right on point. They are spilling their soul right into your lap and you cannot escape it. I am pleased beyond words. I'm just happy.
It’s like there aren’t musical theater performers all over the world singing and dancing live…. Being paid half as much. I’m glad we will all get the experience the full glory that is Cynthia Erica ❤
Anyone who has watched Ariana Grande on SNL should know she is willing to go all the way and play and isn’t just a pop singer, even if they don’t know about her early career etc. when I saw she was cast I was like “oh that 100% make as sense”
I hate that I keep having to say this, but not all broadway roles are created equal, and whoever sings Glinda needs the operatic background. Ariana at least had the respect to go into lessons before filming.

Wait until you learn they recorded all of the singing LIVE. The movie set doubled as a recording studio. They are not lip syncing the songs.
