  • If you are on the autism spectrum, this video is dedicated to you (but of course anyone can watch). Because things and thoughts can get heavy and you can’t always pull yourself out of them on your own, I gladly give you an autism pep talk.
Some autistic people (autism, ASD, Asperger's syndrome) can’t listen to whispering, which is why I decided to make this video a soft spoken one.
It’s awkward to talk to a camera as if it is a person, but I hope I come across as genuine in this video, because these messages come straight from my heart. I am so proud of you for everything you do, and you can be as proud of yourself.
    Disclaimers:
    1) I am not a medical professional. Nothing in this video can be taken as medical or health advice.
    2) This is just one depiction of what autism spectrum disorder may look like. Every person is unique and we should never stereotype anyone. If the things in this video don’t apply to you, that doesn’t make your struggles less real. You are valid and you are awesome.

The first asmr that is not uncomfortable or overwhelming, definitely my favourite pep talk

This is exactly the video I’ve been looking for. Straight to the point, no over acting, over touching, repetitive mouth sounds, etc. I’m going through autistic burnout and I just want to hear a direct pep talk without the extra rambling and waffling. Thank you!

You’re very natural in front of the camera! Super realistic acting, very well done🙏🏼 I know many people will get so much out of this video. Kudos!💖

Thank you! I'm really glad you say that because, while what I say is genuine, I was afraid I would come across as fake because of the 'acting'.

Thank you. For a person who is on the spectrum I can relate to most of what you said and it made my day genuinely better. Thank you just subscribed 😀

How rare it is to hear the real voice of an asmr artist
    But, I like

Thanks, it was a conscious decision because some autistic people have reached out to me saying it's hard for them to listen to whispering.

I'm typically not a fan of asmr videos, as the whispering usually makes me feel uncomfortable, along with all the tapping and breathing. 😬
Not sure if that's bc of my autism, but I really love your voice! 👌
Your videos I can definitely listen to 😅☺

    • @VeeJayASMR

That's exactly why I made this video with my normal voice instead of whispering, so it wouldn't be off putting. Glad you enjoy it!

    "You can't lie very well"
Well, one thing I'm known for in my work place is I love to fuck with people 😂
Being sarcastic is one of my best skills imo 😅

It's not very likely that everything I say in this video will apply to every single person. I hope you found some things relatable? Having people think I'm sarcastic without actually being sarcastic, is one of my best skills 😅

@@VeeJayASMR most of what you said definitely resonated with me 😅👌
Especially when you mentioned being passionate about certain things.
One really bad habit I've had is when I get into something, I get so immersed that
I lose sight of other important things 😮
When I was in school, I was super motivated to get my own car so I can be more independent.
But then I got into online marketing about a year after graduating and since my job was walking distance from me, I decided to focus fully on going full time with that before working towards getting a car and a house.
In a way though, it's actually been working out quite well! 😃

Thank you this was very relaxing and comforting also very reassuring I need to hear pep talk like this once in A while. I am not on the spectrum at least I don't think I am not . I think I may show some traits but I have never been diagnosed I can remember as a very young child undergoing evaluations but I never knew the outcome or results . this was back in the 11970's I wonder if autism was a thing back then. Either way this video gives me reassurance.

Whether you're on the spectrum or not, bottom line is you are beautiful and have value, just the way you are 🤗 It's good to be reminded of that from time to time.
