Great match Simon and Joe! Been watching your videos to get tactics for my men's league. I'm enjoying your scrappy gamestyles that put your opponents in awkward positions. Keep up the good work.
Tennis never ceases to amaze me. Confidence and momentum play such a huge part. I wish I had half of Joe's touch, but his lack of power in his overhead to put balls away drives me crazy. I'm so happy for you guys.
WHAT A MATCH! amazing comeback and what a display of mentality and hunger for victory! You both were on point in crucial points. I really love your synergy, that match point on 09:01 and the cheers from joe are giving me the chills! Definetly felt that one haha. All the best for the upcoming matches!!!
That 7-5 point in the third set tie break, Wow. Also you two cover and change positions so seamlessly. Sometimes it looks like you’re sharing one brain.
Wow great playing. you guys are so good at the net , scrambling and returns, looks like grand slam level ATP type playing. Only difference I see is the serve?
They play plenty of teams who plays slams - there's no difference. Even this guy, Chandresakar, played the 2024 Australian open and lost 6-3 6-4 to Fucsovics and Maroszan (top 50 singles players)
OMG. when the wheels fall off, you guys managed to get 3 of them back on! way to just bear down when everything seems out-of-kilter. there were many great shots, but the one that stuck with me was Jo's backhand overhead to keep you guys in control - not easy after missing other overheads. i also so your first overhead miss (that i can remember) - so that tells you how low the level dropped before the rebound. they were a really solid team, but you guys started out way below your normal level. congrats.
Fantastic play! I'm so motivated, I actually drove by some tennis courts. Did I play? No I'm taking baby steps. Maybe next month I'll pick up a racquet.
Incredible ups and downs but the wall was too tall for them to climb over. You both need a well deserved rest, but champions rarely do. Cheers and thank you as always for sharing your trip with us. M
Joe has been taking up javelin throwing
😂
@@Simon.Freund Is this where Jo decided to go to the Extreme Tour? Please share in a video the details of his racket switch.
This is maybe the most emotion I have seen Joe express.

You had a good crowd for this match. They seemed really into it and were hanging on every point

Ball at 1:33 definately was not out :D
indians always do this in my rec league and high school too
@@davidhan2line judge called it out too, wonder if they were going off the player
It was out. Slow it down and look at the clay before and after the ball lands.
@@karannumber1 Agreed.
I thought that at first too but you can actually see the mark and it's clearly out
Way to stay with it, super mental strengh
This channel needs more views

Anyone else think that Simon and Jo might do well in pickleball. Nothing too serious, but pro runs like Jack Sock?
