The bridge at 0:52 looks like the one over Onion Creek off of old Burleson Rd. I was raised around and know a lot of history of the area. There is an old cotton gin and black smith shop near there but its so over grown one cant swing a detector.
A great video, I can't wait to get my butt out there! And yeah I2 has not made a video in quite a while however here in Colorado the ground is like cement so I haven't even been out oh, but I'm so so anxious to get out! Keep hunting and keep the videos coming!
I'm in Laredo for work and haven't found CRAP here yet man! I hate being in a new state and having to learn the area....especially when all the locals speak spanish! Wish I was having your luck :(
You can tell your in Texas when you see those annoying weeds at 11:00 lol idk much about that plant but eventually make seeds( I assume) that get stuck all over you.

@@oldtexasdetecting1796 well I'll tell you what we need to do we need to go hunting together. I know where the world war 1 army camp fort MaCarthur was located. I have found the ammo dump.I also know we're down near Cameron a real-life plantation is that I have exclusive hunting rights on as my brother's wife daddy owns the land. The slave shotgun shacks in the big Master houses still there. I also know where all of the debris from the 1953 Waco tornado was taken. We can go by air boat up the Brazos Riverwhere I know an old crossing was located that was used during the Texas Independence and civil war. I have a daughter that attends UNTI am always driving up through Dallas or fort Worth so maybe one of these weekends after the holidays we can get together and go hunting.

@Gary Sawyer I totally agree with you, as it's a war I have fought for many years. There is absolutely no reason to keep using lazy spelling/grammar just because we can. I fear it's become that many just don't know any better, and are not even being taught real communication skills in school any more. I place much of that blame on "texting" and laziness.
