THIS IS WHY I LOVE TDP SO MUCH!!
1. Consistent villain.
2. Villain that is actually villain
3. Villain that is all powerful but rather use his manners of speech.
4. Old characters are always re-used (rarely new character introduction).
5. character development. (especially love it claudia cycle into madness)
6. no cliche
There are plenty of cliches Two of which you mentioned. But the cliches are mostly well used, I have to admit. But TDP is awesome and I do love it!

I think this happened before he became the Fallen Star. He was one of the Great Ones, but when the Orphan Queen and Archdragons discovered the truth about him, he was imprisoned, therefore the star on his chest doesn't glow anymore and that's why he's known as the "Fallen Star".

This might be the best TDP trailer yet. The music, Callum possessed, Aaravos collapsing, Claudia screaming... and I love that we're gonna be seeing more of Anya! We haven't had her on screen since before the time skip.

1. After freeing him from the coins alongside raylas parents he attacks callum and rayla tries to stop him and during their fight he blames her for his capture and the mission only being partial completed.

The first scene is like a reference to Icarus, Callum blinded by dark magic or trying to reach the arcanum of the stars. In the end he not being able to handle that power

The 2nd physical book, "Sky" starts off literally telling the story of Icarus, and his niece if i remember correctly, who also wanted to fly. There is a good chance you are correct. (The niece glued the wings together so even if they melt the wings dont instantly break and im pretty sure she survived, in case you were wondering)

Everyone has been saying that for the last 3 seasons. Didn’t work out with Season 4 being horrible. Neither with Season 5 being a slightly improved mixed bag. Maybe be careful with those expectations? If the series won’t even be able to pull off a passable 6th season, this series will become officially doomed. The 7th /final season won’t save it either if the 6th fails.
@@user-ni7td7lm1rforgot to add... In your opinion. Where there are people who didn't like those seasons, there are others who loved them. I for one did not like season 4 at all upon rewatch but loved season 5, and still do. I can say with absolute honesty I am elated for this season, as there is a LOT of stuff that has been built up for the past couple that the trailers have evidently shown are going to have payoffs. Just because it hasn't met your expectations doesn't mean it hasn't met others
Yes you didn’t like season 4 on rewatch because as I said it was horrible. It will be very difficult to find someone that personally liked it or loved it.
You loved season 5 because as I said it was a slightly improved mixed bag. Doesn’t mean a person can’t like or love something that was considered an improvement and met with overall mixed reception.
How can the 6th season not meet my expectations, it didn’t even air yet? I’m just being realistic with my expectations. After 2/3 seasons where generally critics and fans haven’t declared the show had just released its best season, I find it unlikely the 6th will actually be the one considered the best by the time it gets released.
Otherwise speaking of payoffs, it’s not like the 3rd season managed to effectively conclude the 1st arc in a way many considered satisfying either. With 18 episodes left in the entire series, it just seems despite this 2nd arc having been dragged out, it will also end up with a rushed conclusion.

For you, an hour or even a few years to devote your time to something so wonderful, I know that many people who watched it amazing something they are also amazed for us it's a few minutes an hour maybe two But it's still amazing Keep it up and I'm waiting for the seventh season

My theory which is perhaps the safest and most official that like the titles of the books (seasons) means that Aaravos first learned the arcana of the moon, then the sky, then the sun, then the earth, then the ocean, and arcanum stella he was already connected from birth then learning the arcana is in the light he found darkness dark magic it is no coincidence that the titles of the books (seasons) are in order like this! I'm confident in my theory! I LOVE THE DRAGON PRINCE AND "AARAVOS" ❤️

I always thought that the Stars was the first Primal Arcanum he learned/mastered since he was born with it. But I can imagine him learning the other Arcanums in (more or less) a similar order.

@tayj8037 I think it might actually have smth to do with being trapped in the cursed coins bc they said that it's their spirits that are trapped in the coins, and so my theory is that that is Runnans spirit that has been freed but is still yet to be freed by the stain of Dark magic
Looks more like a nightmare to me tbh... he has both horns intact here, but when he was trapped in the coin half of his left horn was missing. It may be that this is just how Rayla would imagine him, because she doesn't know his horn is broken.

Something is obviously going to happen at the wedding, but Amaya and Janai better be officially married first. I have a feeling it would Atleast have 2 seasons.. since it took 6 seasons for aaravos to be freed from his prison and it seems far too quick for it all to just end right when things start to get very chaotic

@@aristica3166 I mean yeah it’s a pretty baseless theory but it being the thumbnail and people expecting a pattern of Callum using dark magic makes this the perfect chance to put this up as a red herring. And if it is a dream sequence it is either Callum having a nightmare about the things he has done or someone close to him doing dark magic.
The former is probably more likely I will admit, but I do think rayla using dark magic to save Callum would do wonders for her character and their relationship

I feel Claudia's breakdown scene is because of Terry leaving her since he can no longer stand to watch her destroy herself over this. He won't force her to stop, but nor will he stay around to watch her do this to herself when she could be better. That big flash scene near the end is probably Claudia successfully setting Aaravos free, so she won't be learning any lessons this Book. If there's any "oh shoot, I've been making mistakes this whole time!" moments coming for her, it's most likely in the last Book. I still feel that instead of just creating a convenient Elf boyfriend for Claudia during the time skip, they should of just had her meet up again with Kruha and he was helping her as a way to pay back her kindness. That would of felt more natural than just "Hey, she got a boyfriend during those two years and he's super supportive on almost everything she's doing".
So once again we've got three plot lines, Plot A is Callum and Rayla looking for that blade that can kill a Startouch Elf (probably cause Callum wants to be sure in case Aaravos does escape), Plot B is about fighting Sol Regem's forces, and Plot C is about Claudia as she falls further down self-ruin and corruption.
That Elf priest is still infected from that bite he got from the "child" Viren and Aaravos made, so I'm very certain that near the end of this Book the latter will take control of him again as part of his plans. As a way of tying the Sun Elf stuff into the bigger Aaravos narrative that made up these past Books. Probably by using him to infect Sol Regem and turn him into a large Shadow Beast for him to control just in time for his return along with all the other beasts and Elves that have been infected by then. Cause I feel that's how TDP will play fighting the "evil" forces safe, just have them mostly consist of mindless creatures so killing them won't be such a bad thing. You know...THAT tired old practice that's been done a lot in fiction these days.
I think it is because her Dad just died, she did not manage to save him, and now she is leaving Terry because she is afraid to experience another loss, proceeding her journey in solo madness guided by Aaravos.
I doubt that every antagonist will be under Aaravos’s control. Karim is his own antagonist so the Sunfire Elf civil war probably won’t have too much interference from Aaravos. I can’t wait to eat my words though.

Of the three moonshadow elves thatve been coined, Runaan.l has the most hate for humans ( remember that the season 1 overload of animosity was the result of Viren and Harrow killing the dragon king and stealing Zym).
So while Rayla’s parents may have a bit of the historical ill will, and be angry from being coined, from what little we’ve seen of them, I’d say they’d be more than happy to set things aside to be with Rayla.
Runaan, on the other hand, has a character mostly set in anger and vengeance. I’d wager he won’t be as forgiving, thus making him prone to Aaravos’s manipulation.

Something I think is so cool, is that we saw hints of the Calum wings/falling scene before, but it was so surreal with its star backdrop, it seemed like a title screen or a dreamscape or something similarly abstract, not like… a REAL scene- It’s so beautiful I- 😭

I WANNA SAY SOMETHING: that dragon who had the lightning was Aaravos because:
1. Looks like him as dragon
2. He said that he swalled aditi in Junai's dream and he must have done that in dragon form.
3. He supposedly killed the former queen of dragons. Luna tembris and if he was a dragon that would maek sense

My theory is that at one point Aaravos met and either fell in love with or befriended a human long before Zadia was split and humans were banished to the west. But something bad happened to the human, (hurt, sick, starved, killed etc…) and he believes they could’ve been saved easily with the elves magic but the elf and dragons policies of “no magic for humans and you’re beneath us” sealed her fate. And that broke him. So he went against his people and taught humans dark magic, we see in that flashback, that ancient human dark mage says he was gifted/taught his staff/dark magic by someone powerful and that the humans were using it to improve their lives, but I bet that wasn’t enough, aaravos wants all the dragons and elves to suffer for taking the one earthly thing he loved, so he manipulated humans and elves and spread more lies and chaos…it would also explain why he seems to have a soft spot for humans but disdain towards his own people.
