Just a little information about the weird hair dryer: it's mostly used by people with curly hair because it works way better than just a normal brow drier and a brush because it also straitens the hair, that's many why you were a bit "disappointed" about how it worked in the straight hair...(no hate to you or your videos I love your content💗)
15:25 hairdresser here, it’s kind of helpful to know if you have split ends or not, but yes it only cuts the ends off. I recently just ordered myself the newer version than the one you used. 8:13 A lot of natural hair stylists use this on utube especially on 4C hair. I really want one because I’m tender headed but can’t justify spending that much😅. I love pink hair, but I prefer this new colour on you because you’ve had the pink for so many years.
I'm a 4c natural and for my birthday 2yrs ago I bought a revair. Its the best investment I've made for my hair. It took me a few times using it to get the power and suction right for my hair. I started off using it on high heat ans set on 7. My hair hair felt too dry. Now I use low heat on 3 and my hair comes out so soft. I use it every 2 weeks and have no heat damage.
Just thought I would put this out there as a fellow hairdresser. There’s a way to do what the Split Ender does with regular scissors, but oddly enough, it was apparently too hard for Victor Talavera to do, which is why he invented it.
I have a RevAir. I usually air dry my hair. But on the days I decide to want to straighten it, it's nice that my dryer does a good amount of the work to start me off and it doesn't take as long as a standard hair dryer.
As an owner of the RevAir (the vacuum hair dryer) I will say it has been a LIFE SAVER for my hair!! I have very thick and curly hair that I've straighten all my life. It's insanely frizzy. When blow-drying and straightening, it would take me about an hour and a half. With the RevAir, I use the high heat (which is 1/4 the heat of a regular hair dryer!) and it literally takes me 30 minutes! And my hair is smooth so I don't need to use a straightening iron after. Sometimes I use a curling iron on the ends. But my hair is so much healthier and smells like my conditioner instead of burning! Honestly, it's the best thing that's happened to my hair. The device is so big and that's annoying, but I love it so much!!
I've had that hair trimmer for several years! I love to use it between cuts to keep the split ends at bay. I definitely notice a difference but have to be very patient to get the best results.
I enjoyed watching you use all these products. It helps show us what works and what doesn't with ZERO fakery as you get from infomercials and the news. Thanks
I needed a Hopescope video. I lost my both my brothers, my sister and my mom recently. And I have been so depressed. Idk how I am getting by. But somehow watching new videos by you, makes me forget how hard life is right now. So thank you for doing what you do..
I’ve been so depressed too, I struggle with multiple severe diagnosis and understand exactly how u feel girl if u need someone to talk to just reach out!
I had the split ender back in the day and I still remember the first day I used it and how amazing my hair felt afterwards, my hairdresser friend was even impressed by it, I honestly wish I still had it. From what I've seen online of it, the waffle iron looking one is for volume, you use it at the roots on the under layers of your hair to boost volume ☺️
I LOVE my REVAIR. It works best if you hold it in place for each 1 inch section instead of moving it. I have very frizzy, thick, wavy hair, and it defrizzes, straightens, and dries my whole head in 10 to 15 minutes, depending on how wet it is. Well worth the price in my opinion. Bonus, my hair is the healthiest it has been in years since I no longer have to both blow dry and then straighten my hair.
@Sophie💐🪩: God is with u he loves and cares for u no matter what he will bring u comfort and joy no matter what we all do he will always be there for u😊❤
I really love the color of your hair now. I hope you keep it for awhile. BTW I'm a 60 year old woman and I just wanted to tell you I love your videos so much. Thank you Hope for making me smile!❤😅
That Revair is the greatest invention ever. I have locs and a regular blow dryer is useless. This thing can get my hair dry quickly. A Dyson would be useless to me.
@Sophie💐🪩: God is with u he loves and cares for u no matter what he will bring u comfort and joy no matter what we all do he will always be there for u😊❤
I bought the Dyson and quickly returned it. I debated for a long time before buying the RevAir, but it's the BEST thing I have done for my hair!!!! My hair no longer is so damaged from years of drying and straightening - I got mine for about $400, but the time I've saved (from an hour and a half to 30 minutes) is worth every penny! Plus my hair now smells like shampoo and not just burning lol
I agree. My mom, who has locs loves it and it’s amazing for drying/stretching my natural hair with no damage. Works way better than the Dyson for both of us.
I have the rolling crimper and you have to roll it the right direction, it works great. But if you go wrong way your going to have no hair left at end.. Also the temu crimp.. I believe is a valoom knock off which is ONLY a root crimper to be used instead of teasing hair with comb.
1:37 I had this blow dryer before it was a viral thing, and I used it so freaking much that I burnt it out, but it was the best thing for me when my hair was much much longer and I used to like to have straight hair cause I have very curly hair and from wet to dry. It was great blow drying it out. Nothing at all you needed was the one top piece and it would blow dry your hair out so amazing. I’ll love this blow dryer it is so worth it and it wasn’t popular when I first got it in four years, I have been looking for it and you have just helped me thank you thank you thank you so that I can now re-purchase this. I am so excited. Thank you.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I absolutely love your new hair color, Hope! If you really like the pink go ahead and do it, but personally I’d prefer sitting with this a little longer
I have the original and updated RevAir. I love them. The heat, and tension are important aspects to straighten and dry the hair. And it works best if the RevAir is kept right against the scalp for 60-90sec.

Regarding the split ender: my friend Corine is a hair dresser and she said that people are taking the machine too far up on their hair and it's going to cause breakage. She says that it's called ender for a reason, to just use it on the last few inches of your hair (the ends).
I have natural curls, and the splitender saved my life. Regular cuts don't support your curls, plus I use splat midnight amethyst hair dye. It works for me to clear the damage and trim the ends without losing any length. It gives me ringlets instead of total frizz!

No more pink, let it be a fond memory of the past. You look gorgeous now, no need for change :)

The Revair is ideal for curly, kinky, and coily hair. It can cut the blow drying time for us curly haired people down by a lot by stretching out the curls and giving us an easier base to work with without getting a brush stuck lol
