yeah and it doesn't have the same vibe as the polly pocket clothes from that limited edition brand, but the way she styled is ~kinda~ what saved the look
Honestly, that stained glass dress is one of the best of the video and it low key looks even better with the colors in front and completely black in back. I wouldn't even paint the rest.
Your Oscar de la Renta creation looks SO cool! I agree with the shading giving it more dimension, but it looks amazing even without it! Please show us the final version once you get it all shaded! Love your creativity! 🌸💕
Hi HopeScope, just wanna give you some aditional info regarding about the Green Loewe dress you bought, the dress was specifically designed to be sold only in-stores and online (not a runway piece) and the collection that the green dress was inspired from was not part of the collection that has the 'polly pocket' designs. The polly pocket clothes are being sold but in specific Loewe stores only, if I am not mistaken, they are made from a foam like material or possibly leather. They definitely wont costs around 1k thats for sure.
I'm not sure about the Polly Pocket pieces, but the green dress is from Loewe's Anthurium runway collection (many dresses from which have been worn by celebrites like Zendaya), is made of lambskin leather, and most definitely retails for thousands.
@@Baby-yodaaa2 Net-A-Porter in a simpler term is basically just a middle man, doesn’t matter if she bought the green dress directly from Loewe or that online store, it is still a genuine Loewe dress but it is not a runway piece.
@@TP-op9bb yess, the anthurium is made from genuine lamb skin leather, so it kinda justifies the price even after the discount, but in the end, it’s just a basic green dress with a well-made leather anthurium embellished on it 😭
My sister ordered the blue dress from Caviar Couture and when it arrived we were left speechless. The quality was incredible, the fabric was truly unique (never seen one like this in my life before) and the customer service was top. They are actually a popular European couture fashion house, their dresses are in Vogue, at the Cannes Film Festival and they also styled Maye Musk. I’m so happy to see them here! And you look gorgeous in it too!
would have cost you max 60-70$ in India It is actually a very cheap material price-wise and looks amazing every kid in 2003-2005 was wearing gowns made with this fabric😂😊
@@meenalmeenal-d7vI prefer to pay premium for a dress which I know was produced ethically and sustainably, with a great quality, rather than paying cheap for exploitation labour, which is what India is often known for.
But it's the fault of Indian purchares only that our craftsmanship is unrecognised and not paid with what they deserve... we'll go buy European or American luxury brands who get their embroidery done in India without giving it it's recognition and we'll buy it too....but we won't pay a dollar extra for the hand embroidered Indian dress coz ofc its not a brand...@@ChiaraRossi98
that lime green polly pocket outfit with the pink shoes would be the most perfect convention outfit. Its like so whimsical and fun which is everything your channel represents
10:50 no offense but I don’t think that the green dress was worth it all that money for address that you could literally get or like buy on another website for like half the price, but it was very cute
I thought exactly the same. And it doesn’t even matter what kind of brand it is. That’s still way too much. Clothes should never be sold for that much money, that’s crazy
10:38 that green leaf..oh god😂😂🤣 you can find them as many as you want in Indian weddings and festivals as we use them for decoration...but never realised that we can also them as accessory too. Pretty Cool!
I'm an 80s baby and seeing a lot of this stuff is crazy because it was stuff that existed when I was a kid. Yes, in 1991 I had hypercolor t-shirts. They were my favorite, and although the one that I have for my childhood that I kept does not change color anymore, it is an amazing piece of nostalgia and I loved that quote technology. Also the Marc Jacobs dress, I had pants that were like that from a store called rave that I got in 9th grade. That type of store was kind of like your mix between a Charlotte Russe if anybody can remember that and like a forever 21. It was fast fashion it was not super cheap but not super expensive but I had pants that were black and blue and so when they were stretched over my thighs it was a little bit more blue than black but I loved those pants. I also had for homecoming in 10th grade address for the very top of it had a bunch of plastic pieces that were put together but they had the shiny backing on it so it kind of looked like it was mirrored. So this is bizarre seeing all of this stuff come back!it's so weird living through a rolling trend that's coming back now, like when I go to Target and I see things that were out when I was in Middle through high school I don't know if I am allowed to like them again LOL. Does anybody understand this or feel this way😂
Omg THE RAVE!!! I forgot all about that !!! And yes i feel the same exact way!! My sons girlfriend comes over wearing things and sometimes it causes a visceral reaction.. i dont know whether to cry or laugh 😭🤣

wow hope you can really pull off anything that you put on!! you look so pretty in everything !!!! 💕I love crafting with HOPESCOPE!! Who else is OBSESSED with the stained glass dress???
Just my personal opinion, I think the dress you painted looks amazing with just the front done. It makes the front pop more. Great video and being probably someone in your older demographic (I'm 52) I remember color changing shirts, you would walk outside and less than a minute your shoulders were already changing.
Wow. Great job painting the glass on that dress. I would leave the back alone. Looks beautiful with the back black and front with different colors. It’s perfect!
Hope I love all your videos and they make me smile every time I watch them! You’re probably my favorite TH-camr I watch right now, you just are so amazing and I’m so happy for you almost hitting 5 million subscribers! Also I don’t need the phone ❤

The pastels winx dress would be totally a Flora dress, the nature fairy. 😅just mentioning winx brought back so many memories, winx club trollz totally spies, so many memories. The stained glass dress would be so cool if it had a theme to it, like Redwall, or Lorde of the Rings like the hobbit hole.
it's not runway, but it is inspired by one of their runway pieces, they made a more commercial version, the flower is made from genuine leather tho so the price is kinda justified.
1800$ for a simple neon green dress is wild.
It’s super super cute, especially the way you styled it, but it’s still wild.
It’s a proper designer dress. So it will keep a resale value.
i agree, its wild to me
I don’t think the way she styled it really did it justice 😭

Are we not going to talk about how the $2,207 dress that was custom-made appears to be clipped in the back at 9:04?
Ya😢
Maybe she lost weight
It was clipped at the back how did I miss that
Okay but how about how uneven the bodice connection to the skirt is! 2207 for bad craftsmanship
