    In case you do not know, Osiris is the husband of the goddess Isis. In Origins, Bayek is a broken man, and Aya helps but him back together. His usage of Osiris as an analogy for their relationship reflects one of the most famous myths in Egypt. The god Set killed Osiris in a jealous rage, then spread his body parts through the nile. His wife, Isis, then spent the following years recovering his body parts and putting him back together. However, she couldn’t find his heart, as it was eaten by a crocodile. Osiris then became the lord over the land of the dead. Bayek is not only referencing Aya fixing him, but referencing how they were not able to be together for the rest of their time until old age because of the hidden ones. Truly poetic.

      It wasn't the heart :)

    • @thegreatjedi309
      @thegreatjedi309 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That's not entirely accurate, however. It wasn't the heart Isis couldn't find, but the penis.
      Osiris' cock had been eaten by creatures of the Nile - thus making the river sacred and magical - and without all his physical parts, she was unable to resurrect him permanently. In a moment of desperation, Isis used her magic to quite literally erect a golden phallus, reanimating Osiris just long enough for one last fuck. That was how Osiris impregnated Isis with who would eventually become Horus, who defeats Set and reclaims his father's throne as ruler of Egypt.

I think we can all agree that Bayek will stand as perhaps the greatest Assassin/Hidden One who ever and will ever live. Ezio and Altair were awesome, but they didn't create the Brotherhood. They merely redefined it. Bayek was the one who created the Brotherhood. Now, here's a question: how is Reda still alive after 800 years? @@dariogomez8921 Yep, Legacy of the First Blade, you have a Son with Darius’s (King Xerxes of Persia’s Murderer) Son/Daughter depending if you’re Alexios or Kassandra, and Darius and your Son flee to Egypt and Aya is a descendant of Alexios/Kassandra and Darius
      So in a way Aya/Amunet is a related to Leonidas and Darius two great figures of history..
