- Home Assistant Reolink Video Doorbell Pop Up
Get a live video window pop up when someone rings your doorbell!
Should work with any video doorbell brand too, provided they can be integrated in to Home Assistant!
In this Part 7 of my Home Assistant series I will show you how to create a card on your Home Assistant Dashboard or Overview screen so that whenever someone rings your video doorbell it will automatically pop up a live video feed on your Home Assistant Dashboard so you can see who is at your door.
In this video I am using a Reolink PoE Video Doorbell which I have already added the integration for in Part 5 of my Home Assistant series on a GMKtec PC.
Note that you will need to already have both HACS and the Reolink Integration installed, if you haven't then you can watch my videos using the links below, before you follow along with this video.

HI Tim. I am trying to do a workaround for the voice issue on Home assistant. I am thinking of loading the Reolink app on my wall panel and add HAS and my phone and wife's phone as added users. the question is how do i pop up the Reolink app on the wall panel when door bell is pressed and then return to HAS screen when closed? This should theoretically allow me to communicate with person at the door?

Can you do a version for PIP for a smart TV/ tv box?
That would be a challenge, keep a look out in the future and I may well do something like that but can't promise of course, but it's on my list!
