I think both rats look good but I like the night force dark colors!
I have Shooter arriving soon from Walmart ( ew! ) but I do want to get in on night force like I did with the tiger force!

I think I like the OG better, but love the changes on the NF. Little touches like the red for the scope, the flashlights and the JoePro are really cool. He’s preordered, so I’m getting him. I’m trying to remember in the ARAH line if characters would appear in several sub teams. Like, we won’t see a NF Duke bc he’s in TF.
Make as many Tunnel Rats as they want, respecting Larry Hama
I like both equally, but then I always did. It's one of the better palette swaps of the 80s. I do think I'll try my hand at switching the pants as I like the ARAH look on ol' Nicky - don't see why they needed to screw with it.

I only have NF big Ben but if the do the og team im going in on those. I hope to find him in stores as I missed the po.
Simple repaint. I will wait till it goes on clearance.
This is a first-rate review of NF Tunnel Rat and his awesome accessories, and I like the NF version more than the ML version.
The original is much better, but I'm glad they are giving people options.

I am most definitely switching pants when I get mine. The vintage NightForce was supposed to have light grey pants and the original standard release had black pants. That NF Tunnel Rat has darker pants, even if they aren't black. I don't think Hasbro is going to release a "retro" version with black pants; that would be silly.
I was going to pass on him. I didn't figure I needed a simple repaint.
But I'm loving Night Force, and have the others (Wolf Spider is pre-ordered). Plus, I had a $10 promo code for Walmart. So I went ahead and pre-ordered him.
I like the face paint and also the fact that I picked up regular TR for like 10$ from target!

I've always liked Tunnel Rat, but I never understood why a guy who crawls around tunnels and tight enclosed areas carried a big ass M60.
Surprised they didn’t throw in a gas mask of some sort as all the other Night Force members got. The story seems to indicate the dark energon causing problems. Maybe the problem is airborne. The Mole Rats getting converted. It just seemed a deviation.
The Night Force Crazylegs with the Dragonfly doesn't either but I wish they both did

I think I like the night force color scheme much better, but I like the black marks on the skin and face better on the original. and since I have the original look figure already, probably not a purchase for me regarding the night force

I heard someone say that the red lenses are a Nightforce thing?
Nightforce was after my collecting days, but damn I like those colors. Compare that to the atrocious Marauder colors. No thanks. Don't really see a reason to buy the Nightforce Tunnel Rat though.
I'm gonna Pass on the Night Force, I am gonna want this guy in Sonic Fighters colors instead.

It's the same head... just with out the face paint. It's not needed.
I know Gi Joe is sci-fi military, but this figure even in the world of sci-fi makes no tactical sense. Tunnel rat, small spaces, confined, close quarter combat specialist. Rocking the LMG??? A heavy, cumbersome beltfed or drum fed, will get stuck in a tunnel will get caught both with vertical and horizontal rotation in a confined space heavy machine gun?
A auto pistol, mp5k or spaz 12 or the shortened silenced version of standard ARs was what he needed
