I wonder how to change planes - opening up a mission and selecting a different one from the drop down. But maintaining the mission options in the ATC menu area in-game. When I switch planes or helicopters, it removes the availability of in mission/sidemissions.

Thanks . I set up a basic mission to practice formation flying. I added an F18 since thats what I want to fly and set it to client. I also added a Hog aircraft to set its way points. When i clicked Fly, i have both aircraft flying. How do I get in the F18? Got it working have to only pick yellow cars
Tilly, this is awesome!!! I haven't been too good at the mission editing, but just this video is probably all I need to set up some good training missions for myself when I'm not online. Thanks a lot. Look forward to flying with you guys soon.
Q thanks The nice thing about putting a simple mission together with this kind of randomisation is that you have replayability And you, as the designer, are kept surprised about which units spawn, and where Which is good for single player missions :)
Tilly B question for you, do you know how to make an AI group spawn at a specific time instead of immediately? I tried triggers but the AI groups still start automatically
There's a couple of ways to do it. If you want them to spawn after a set time, then the condition you use is "time is more" then enter the time in seconds I'll look at this in relation to ground units in the next tutorial
Hello, first of all, youre doing great tutorials! I just want to give it a try and see if i find some help here. I also checked all of the other tutorials, but nothing fits to my problem, so im asking here: I am trying to recreate a historical ww2 mission: Erscorting B17 with 10/10 or 9/10 cloud cover (completely overcast). 9/10 and 10/10 cloud cover causes the 8.8cm Flak to be completely blind, so they dont shoot at all. At 8/10 its working but the sky wont show up completely overcast, in a way i realy dont want to leave it like that. Any idea how to get the AAA ignoring the cloude cover or recognizing the enemy ... Or even get the AAA shooting in a specific direction at a specific height? Im somewhat desperate. Hope someone can help me. Thanks and best wishes Momo

Why can't you put player option. Why does it have to be client? If I make a mission like this for solo will it work
All of my missions are "random". I never know what if anything will happen.

So for the mission I was creating, I wanted them to spawn after a certain group arrived at their location, but maybe ill try using the time method
Q have the group enter a trigger zone.
On group enter, set flag "1" to be 1
Flag "1" is more "time" - activate group "enemy"

Sorry but they will not shoot through a 9 or 10 cloud, or if the lights is below a certain level.
