I once bought a yeti mug for $1 after I paid and leaving. The Chinese mom of the daughter that sold me chased me out and said it’s stainless steel it had to be $5. So I passed and got my $1 back. 😅
This was a good move because you got some good content and some brownie points from the community :) However, I wouldn't have returned it, simply because they found out you were a content creator and took advantage of it. Guy didn't even offer you anything for your time and gas due to his own mistake.

Just wanted to give you my thoughts, on the seller that wanted the games back. I’m seeing many people putting you down it’s not right! At a personal level, I feel you did the right thing! At a business level, I feel you did right as well! Your business is not hurting at all, but if it was you still do the right thing. If the seller looked things up,and saw that he would make more money on eBay let him try. I probably would have said, I understand your decision. The thing is all people wouldn’t be willing to give it back. Just for reference! He needs to think before selling anything now! GREAT JOB 👏👏👏
People that ask why are you telling them you’re a reseller? Well sometimes your back against the wall. Not many casual buyers come into a garage sale looking to buy every video game in sight, or wanting to spend hundreds. It almost gets to a point where it looks bad on you to lie and say you aren’t a reseller Because they just know. It is what it is. I would have done the same thing, but wouldn’t read it next time . Or just say it’s already sold 😂😅😊
All of the people in the comments saying you did the "right thing" as if this was an objective situation. As if it wouldn't have also been a "right thing" to NOT return the stuff. Just as it's not yard sale etiquette to return an item you buy at a yard sale, why should the opposite apply just because the person had seller's remorse? If you felt compelled to return the items, then good. If you hadn't returned the items, that would have been good as well.
Yeah, I don't think it's a requirement to return things like this and obviously it's a case by case basis sort of thing. If we had spent hours listing everything I probably would have felt differently.

And before you blast me lol, I know the defense is “well now they’re gonna just sell it on eBay” to which I say… most people don’t realize when they first start just how hard it is to continually run an eBay properly.

The guys' story about the sentimental value is possible, but even if he had wanted it back to sell it himself, going through the trouble of finding you guys online, then awkwardly asking for it back and driving out to meet you to get it must mean that he really wanted it back. Also, that stuff didn't seem like it was really worth all that much anyway. I have to say, the contrast between you guys giving that stuff back and most other people's opinions in the comments here is a good example of where humanity is at these days, there is not much of a moral or ethical code.

That's crazy. I'm not sure what I would do because after you list it then that was time put into it. I'm guessing the price you paid was way lower then the price it was listed for...
Would be amazing if you started to keep a running total each time you pop up the price of a new item. If not this, Potentially at the end sales tally going through everything again maybe talk about the totals then.
When you ship golf clubs, what is the average cost for irons and putters? I noticed you ship for free, I have gotten burned shipping for free in the past when someone on the west coast buys something (Im in NE Ohio).
It boggles my mind how many good items you go out and are able to find.. half the sales you film have video games or electronics. I've gone to garage sales past 2 months, every weekend, probably 20+ sales per day.. there's been like 2 garage sales with video games of ANY kind.. maybe 2-3 with some electronics, almost never in a box. How is it I watch all these pickers go sale after sale and every single one of them is 10x better than the items I find? I live in FL.. I've gone to rich neighborhoods, poor areas, middle class areas.. I've used all the garage sale apps, I've stopped at un-listed garage sales.. etc. After like 100 garage sales, I've found like... 10 times, and only 2-3 shitty video games and no consoles nothing. I start at 7am (though most sales start at 8-9 in this area). What am I doing wrong?? Is it just a bad area I live in? I mean there's MANY garage sales, estate sales, etc.. it just feels like 99.99% of them have gone on ebay, kept anything of any value to themselves, and just sell utter junk. How is this not the case with ANY pickers/resellers I watch?? Thx for coming to my TED talk.
I wish some of the junk i bought at garage sales that i was told it worked and it didnt i could get my money back. You are a fool for doing that. If he was a decent person he would have gave you extra back for your time and trouble. YOU LET HIM BEND YOU OVER!!!
I think the last part is a little overboard. It's not like it was some amazing lot tbh. I truly think he had nostalgia for it and regretted making the sale. It's OK to be kind from time to time in this business. I never run out of stuff to buy.

I'd say the average is around 8 to 12 dollars via UPS ground.
Is Jessica your wife or just your friend?
Wife
What a weirdo... who does that!
22:20 she's cute!
Well..... She's cute
Thx for coming to my TED talk.
your doing it wrong but if I tell you everyone will know
Hey just wondering where do you sell stuff like that at and I have PlayStation 3 games for sale
I would not have paid $60 for it. Games seemed pretty mediocre but you did a bad job showing what you paid $60 for. was the camera included or not?
The camera was not included.
If all my guitar hero and guitar hero equipment I used in my touring days got sold, I would regret it too
The story is bs. Bet they know he is resellers so they looked stuff up then decided they wanted to get it back and sell it on eBay themselves
FIRST!

We do have a whatnot. We haven't done a show on there in awhile but might do one or two later this fall or winter. Pro_Picker is our username there.
@@propicker awesome I hope you do really good man you and your wife are cool peeps
@@propickerso glad the whatnot craze is over
Zi think that was a cheap offer.
If you mean on the Wii lot. Wii lots without any good games are really tough to sell and actually make anything on. So, my offer was fair.
Second...lol...❤

Completely trash
What?
Should’ve never returned it. That’s how people take advantage of you.
He probably looked the stuff and seen what it was worth. That was his real regret.
Yea he’s a liar. It was a gift from your dad you don’t use? I call BS.😊
