- A fantastic concert, the first of the 2011 45th Anniversary tour. This has been lovingly put together by elixir101 who edited together all of the TH-cam mobile phone footage he could find. This really does take bootlegs into the 21st Century!

I'm 70 years old and a first generation Monkee fan. I love this video. Thank you for showing it. I'm praying someone will do the same with Micky's rememberance concert for Davy,Peter and now Mike. RIP guys! Love you always 💖
I am surprised and pleased they performed All of Their Toys in concert. This rare track is located on their Missing Links album.

RIP Davy and Peter. Davy passed away on February 29, 2012 at the age of 66, then 7 years later, Peter passes away on Thurday,
February 21, 2019 at the age of 77,
Love them! I used to watch the re runs of the monkees tv show during the 80's twice a day!! Sometimes it was the same episode wow!! I really had lot of time back them!!

First time I'm seeing this. So beautiful when you think about ten months later.... And what does Davy say at the end of Daydream Believer? "I hope you'll sing these songs for a long time. Just keep singing these happy little songs and you'll be ok." Almost makes you wonder if he knew...

I just love this !! A huge thank you! I know I am wanting too much, but how nice it would have been to have had a complete concert of their Manchester show that same year. The last year that Davy appeared in his hometown.I have seen about 3 songs from that concert which is great but still long to see that entire concert, even now.

hey RareMonkees person your collection is AWESOME! i met Micky and Davy in 76 at the DJBH show in NY. Davy said to Micky(who had a broken arm at the time "oh look eez short like me" (im 5'1" still and could still pass for a Davy double). thanks for the goodies RareMonkee person

It was all very cute when The Young Monkees performed their vaudeville slapstick comedy with bubblegum music...and while nostalgia has some value...seeing these pensioners struggle through a mediocre set is very amateur..and too far past it's prime. The Monkees struck gold in the original TV show and songs chosen by Don Kirshner made them famous and wealthy. It was a huge mistake for them to insist on writing all their own songs.....they all realised they were unable to play well enough to record properly...and certainly never enjoyed chart successes with their own songs. Oh, what a blunder, fueled by the arrogance of youth.
@@realdiamondshow same can be said for alot of the old gas bags still touring pre covid. Maybe these guys were having fun. Obvioysly there was still a market for their show.

Seeing this so many years after David passed, you can see how winded he was during the performance, it's unfortunate nobody (or even he) didn't see it as well, he just doesn't look 'right' and not just because he was older

Everyone goes on how cute Davy and Mike were,and they're right,but my sweet Peter had DIMPLES!!!!!! He could have flashed them at me and I would have been puddy in his hands!
