It's a nice ending too, I took 20 years to finally discovering it. Back in 1996 I had the sad ending but it fit perfectly the dark dramatic plot. This game is an absolute gem 😍
@@Khalith Actually Patty is still on the surface according to the GBA version’s true ending she’s still in the grass when Ryu’s mother knocked her out of Habaruku’s reach before he can kill her to open the gate to Infinity so that his god can return!!!
Thats a good question and I never really thought about that. It would be a possible theory considering the main antagonist from this game is never mentioned again unlike Tyr (his mother) who was the main villain in the first game was mentioned if I remember right (and actually appears too) in BoFIV.
@@BasileousProductions I did some searching and what I found out was (spoilers) it was all real. A memory charm was casted on everyone, that made them lose their memory while Ryu was sleeping at the beginning of game, so he wakes up no one knows who he is... it was a interesting find and read.. It was good to find out he was actually experiencing this adventure.

Yeah, I prefer this to the sad ending.
I know some people like the sad ending better due to Ryu's bravery, but still
So. Did they like bury his sister down there with those kids? Or?
Yup. Patti and the dragon clans are permanently sealed in the underworld fighting the now weakened demons.
