  • We are excited to welcome the ever popular Simon Cocozza back to the HorseTribe for this, his fourth webinar. How would you answer the following questions:
-Is it easy to keep your horse on the bit?
-Is your horse’s contact soft and steady?
-Is your horse supple in the body?
If your answer to any of these is ‘no ‘- this webinar is for you!
During this session, Simon will explain how the solution to each of these problems lies in helping the horse to round from its back, rather than from its head and neck. He will explain how to isolate your horses back and improve their acceptance of contact and develop suppleness throughout the body.

Ok, perhaps no one will answer - I can see that comments before me are left hanging. But anyhow, I started doing these exercises. Lots of fun. He got the walk and the trot right away, transitions from back up to trot worked well but he wouldn't stretch down during back up as of yet.
I would love a follow up video to see how he works with picking up the horse and getting them on the bit for a normal working/dressage frame. After all, that was a big point with the video but left unexplained.

The video of the horse being lunged with stretch…. Is this a horse that already knows how to lift his back? How do you ask for stretch in lunging in trot ?
