Welcome back to my channel guys. I’ve filmed my weeks groundwork with Sienna. I now feel like I’ve got a bit more of a idea of the exercises and work needed to help her kissing spine. But also all this work would be great for any horse needing to improve its core strength and topline.

As a vet physio, I really like the way you have approached Sienna's kissing spine rehab, some great reasoning in your approaches. I particularly like that you -mostly- don't use a roller for your long lining. A recent study by Russell Mcguire has shown rollers without any clearance or padding that lifts them off the spine cause huge pressures directly onto the spine - not ideal for any horse let alone those going through KS rehab. Well done for sharing this video - I wish you all the best in your rehab journey!

Thank you so much for your comment. In the end we weren’t convinced that kissing spine was the problem and still trying to work out what’s going on with her. But all the inhand work has helped.

Thank you for this, some good ideas there to incorporate with my boy. Looking foward to seeing the progression video in a few weeks' time.

Thank you. Yes it’s definitely making me realise there is so much you can do on the ground that can help them.

Thank you 😊 could you do a short on how to position yourself and hand for neck stretch ? 👍

Yes, will try and remember to add that into the next rehab update. Though not sure if I’m correct or not. But seems to work! 😂🙈

First time viewer. think ur great. I saw this tube with just normal hot water bottle strung together as warming pads. I thought that was champ.

Yes someone else also mentioned hot water bottle which is a good idea.

She is looking good - there is a Facebook group No back no horse, they have some free good in hand exercises. Also I have same roller and to lift it more off the back I duct taped two big car wash sponges, one under each pad. For a heat pad could you try a warm hot water bottle wrapped with towels? Looking forward to the next vlog 😊

Yes I’ve now joined the Facebook page and will definitely be including some of the exercises I’ve seen on there.
I did read about the sponges taped on the roller, must get some, such a good idea!

My horse would benefit from exercises like these. He has a suspected sacroiliac issue. Don't worry, I won't take it as gospel.

Sorry to hear your chap a suspected SI issues. These exercises have definitely helped Sienna with hers.
