I want to see Kratos going to Asia beating ancient Japanese and Chinese Gods. Having an Asian mthyology arc could be very fascinating. (As long as the creators design asian Gods accordingly and not send out some weird ass looking Gods. They need advisors from Asia perhaps artists and scholars to get the design and features on point though. And since Kratos is "The God of War" he can go after any God, he should not be limited by any geographyical means. He should be able to go against ALL Gods regardless of their origins.

@@johncapron6010 I would definitely be happy with a new move set for the spear because I have never really been a fan of it and even during the fight against hiemdal it took me half an hour to realize that I was forced to use it during the battle. Always been a fan of the blades and axe but the spear not as much. Hopefully it would have something different about other than just the standard wind element.

Not anymore. He uses them out of choice. Ever since he left Greece and the power of Olympus collapsed, the blades weren’t bound to him. He was able to put them away and then took them up again in GoW 2018. They aren’t bound to him anymore tho

They always had a very good explanation wo why Kratos doesn't have his weapons from game to game, either Athena and Zeus strips them away in chains of Olympus or losing them all in the final battle of God of War 3 and keeping only his blades after he attempts suicide with the blade of olympus (Imagine Kratos here with the blade of olympus full power siphoning his godly power, he would be unstoppable).

I think he will stay with Freya and Mimir and help rebuild Midgard alongside with other worlds, while Atreus will be the one exploring other Pantheons. Maybe we will see Kratos visiting Egypt, but only to see Atreus, save him or something along those tropes

I bet the other pantheons will be aware of Loki bringing Ragnarok to the Norse gods and will be wary of him, so if they try to screw with him or Angrboda, Atreus will call himself Loki to them to scare them off.
I hope that they give Kratos a really cool weapon arsenal in the Egypt games. I love the creativity with all of his weapons. I hope that it continues forever
Tbh after the ending of GoW Ragnarok, I really want an Atreus game. Atreus as a young adult with more control over his powers would be badass. Being able to turn into different animals with different functions and being able to command animals to solve puzzles and fight for you could be very interesting

The spear is obviously personal too him but the axe depends, it was a gift from atreus' mother so it would make sense for atreus to be gifted it

I think that Kratos will wear something similar to his Greek costume, but with some Egyptian armor on it. And he will wield a sickle sword and shield and later on, some Egyptian weapons as he fights the monsters of Egyptian Myth.
As for his Japanese look and weapon, he’ll wear some sort of red Samurai Armor and carry a katana to fight the Yokai demons.

I think his weapon might be a scimitar or smth like that, they made him use an axe for the norse and greek weapons were weapons of the gods so it didn't count but he did use the last spartan's weapons which were greek weapons... So it might be a scimitar or he might even ride a horse to battle.

The story from those 2 were on point and very very interesting. I do hope there is more action like god of war 3 but maybe not as much as God of war 3. Just somewhat a little more than ragnarok.

Kratos had Brok bless the spear, he ain’t leaving that behind, he kept the blades of chaos from Greece, and the Axe belonged to his wife so he’s definitely not leaving those behind, or the shield, and he’s much too serious to consider wearing a wig to “fit in”, he doesn’t care about fitting in, and the way they went with 2018 GOW and GOW ragnarok he wouldn’t go there simply to kill gods, he’d want to live a peaceful life.

Even though the Leviathan Axe is incredibly fun to use and has become an iconic weapon for Kratos, I would love to see a segment in future GoW media where he passes it on to Atreus.
That would allow them to introduce a new iconic weapon into Kratos' arsenal in new games.
Plus, in my opinion, the axe deserves to be used by a protector/herald of the giants. That was how Faye used it and I believe that's how Atreus would use it.

If they do a GOW Egypt I hope they bring back the epic boss battles of the GOW series, and the big set pieces. They could even make some new boss enemies based on Egyptian culture, like the Sphynx could be a boss, a huge cat boss made of stone with the head dress, that would be cool.
In egypt i think it would be a prequel. After the events of gow3. He went first to egypt before ending up in the norse lands.
It would make sense on why he majorly changed over the years as well cause even with the minor scenes we got with Faye he seemed to have calmed down a lot

Like guiding him and telling him about why those blades keeps following him around even though he kept throwing them away but it always comes back. Then he used it to save the people of egypt from the monster there. It was in a god of war novel and it was cannon. Check it out. So i think the coming gow might be a prequel in egypt. Those years drifting away while ending up in Norselands.
This would make sense if let’s say angraboda was stolen by an Egyptian god for her future telling giants magic and Atreus meets with kratos as an adult and they go to save her in Egypt

@@andrewohara2146 to add to this in an additional conversation in God of war Ragnarok Freya asks about his old magic and kratos says that he can't use his old magic anymore Freya says that this might be because magic is tied to your home and when it's destroyed you lose your magic so since kratos can't use his magic anymore this pretty much confirms that Greece is destroyed
Do you mean to rebuild Greece? That would be cool, but it would be an uneventful game. They'd have to conjure up moments of action where there likely wouldn't be any since Greece is godless now.

@@happycappy12 so like would it be temporary or not 'cause kratos has that tattoo in remembrance and honor for his fallen brother deamos (who had a birthmark like it), altering it in any permanent way other than scars would dishonor him. I think if they did it'd have to be connected to the pantheon or magic and when kratos either kills the gods or makes peace with them the marks will dissappear, Freya said that magic is connected to the earth and theories suggest that when a pantheon is destroyed most of the magic goes with it. Shoot, even the world building seeing as how ancient Egypt was either open desert or cities, no mountains or vast greenery, but I'm sure they'll find a way to make it pretty
It was pretty well established in Ragnarok that he is bonded to those Nordic lands now. The next story will most likely follow his son, and hopefully they will time jump him a bit so he can be a more credible story focus than he was in Ragnarok.

@@abramlittle7102 Two completely different cultures, different political views, different government structure, different military structure, waged their wars completely differently and Greece was divided into city states e.g Sparta, Athens etc. They worshipped a different pantheon of gods. Egypt was later influenced by Greece but Ancient Greek culture was formed within itself with little outside influence. So you do your research.

With shapeshifting and working with animals I could see Atreus’s own game working completely differently, utilizing stealth (being the trickster god and all) and having more open world types of traversal since he might be able to turn into a bird or something and be able to summon and ride different creatures. It wouldn’t be God of War, but it could be fun and unique on its own.

Funny thing is Kratos going to Egypt might open the way for the Greek Gods we never got to meet to reappear. After all during Greek Myth it was said that the Egyptian Gods were formed when the Greek Gods fled there when Typhon appeared and hid as animals. So this might mean that Greek Gods might be in Egypt and actually planning revenge or hiding with some of the Gods there.
It's crazy how in the god of war and the god of war ragnarok game he doesn't actually mean to kill those gods but he did kill the whole pantheon anyways

I think in the east, the rise and fall of gods is seen as a given. And God of war is kinda about these untouchable deities being challenged
