Promos most months which brings it down to 13 a card before shipping, when you add around 20+ cards, it averages out with shipping to about $24 a card for all the ones I've done. Drastically increases value.
My 2nd ever submission just went into Grading stage! Come on PSA!!! The excitement and anticipation of watching your cards go through the process is unreal!
I completely support whatever it is that makes people enjoy this hobby. For me it's hard enough to spend 25 dollars for someone to look at your card for 25-30 seconds. Even harder to pay that much for shipping when ebay can ship stuff for next to nothing/free and it be insured. I'd rather buy a couple more singles or another booster box with that money.
I just recently started getting into pokemon because my daughter is into it. I've watched a few of your videos and I gotta tell you I think you have the best outro on TH-cam. I care about you guys is an awesome thing to say. Such simple words that mean so much. Keep up the good work. I'm glad your getting some well deserved recognition 😊
What's the grand total for submitting just one card??? It would be great if I had over 20 cards to submit in a bundle and pay a bulk price and spend around $500, but if I were looking to just get one card graded, it seems like it would be around $75 for just one card. I've looked into PSA before for just one card and honestly it's not worth it unless you do bulk grading. Need to let the viewers know that as well bro.
That was my thing with grading as well. The price is just too much to grade unless you are grading a large amount. I have about 10 cards I believe are gradable for a 10. I still think that is not enough for a max value in cost. On the long term it may be beneficial but they are other factors involved with pricing now.
*I'M SUPER LUCKY I FOUND YOUR VIDEO! I'M NEW TO ALL OF THIS, BUT I QUIT FOR 6 MONTHS. NOW I'M READY TO CONTINUE BUT YOUR VIDEO WOULDN'T HAVE BEEN OUT 6 MONTHS AGO! NOW I DON'T NEED TO WORRY ABOUT PAYING FOR IT!*
Serious question, do they ship you back your sleeves/toploaders etc or do they throw them away? I'm not trying to by nice protective equipment if it's just going to be trashed
Ty for making this video. I actually got some cards I was thinking about grading and did look up PSA for info. Now I’ll definitely try them out. Thank you again for the promo code. 🤗
Do you recommend not using the little sticky note pull tabs to help the cards out of the card saver? Also, no more need to sandwich the cards between cardboard for shipping?
Thanks for super helpful walkthrough! We at PokéDuo Adventures are submitting our first card to PSA for grading. We pulled Pikachu EX 238 SIR from the first pack we cracked of Surging Sparks! 🤯 We’ll let you know how grading goes. Thanks again!
so im tring to submit some cards but im not sure how to go about it. i have a Clashroyale 001/250 blue bomber but it doesnt show numbers on the psa. also other numbered cards just want to make sure i get it done right. Please help
I've got a question, since im new to pokemon tcg collecting, been doing it nearly for year now, so how would I go about selling bulk dups cards like my base set commons, uncommons etc, I'm in the U.K also, should I use ebay or find a card store?
In your original videos about shipping to PSA you mentioned to attach a sticky tab to the sleeve. In this video you didn’t use them. Are they not needed anymore ?
Question! I'm new to all this and just learning the ropes, for grading a card, when do you consider it worth grading it and when not? I kinda got hooked thanks to my luck of getting a bloodmoon Ursaluna ex in my first 3 packs, it's worth around 40$, is it too low to get it graded?
Thank you, super useful video. Do you have a video as a guide on what to look for when thinking of sending a card for grading, like the centering of the artwork etc.
Got back my first PSA Submission today! Out of 5 cards had 1 that seems to be a bit on the graded poorly side, thinking it might be some population control to be honest. But it is what it is, happy my cards turned out well besides the one card
I agree with you 1000%. Here's a comment I left on this video lol. "Here after getting railed by PSA. 25 JPN 151 cards submitted (24) PSA 10s and (1) PSA 9. 48 English cards sent in (22) PSA 10s, (23) PSA 9s, (2) PSA 8, and (1) PSA 7. All cards pulled by me and are pack fresh. All cards were well within centering margins. Identical centered cards with various different grades. 2 gold cards got an 8 and 7. I will never be sending cards in with them again lol. I will be moving to sealed and already graded cards instead." Even going back over scans of my cards it makes 0 since to me how these English cards got screwed over. 100% someone having a bad day or a bigger issue with PSA controlling quantities.. never doing it again
thank you just used it! I only had to pay for shipping but its okay since it was my 1st time shipping to psa its pretty excited. The video helped a lot! I never sent any since I never knew how! But finally my first card! now to wait 45 days hahaha
Awesome video! Question for you Vault, is there any benefit to having a lower declared value or a higher one? For example, if I have a card that I think/hope will be a 10 but then that would put the value at $700, is it better to do that or just decare it at $500 and hope that it still get's a 10?
Thank you for this video. Very helpful. I have so many rare and crisp cards that I want to grade. I would love to grade them I just have fear of a few things with grading. I don’t trust I will get my card back I. The condition I gave it to them. The price per card for grading is very expensive. I cannot afford so much per card. I also have a fear of the 45 day waiting period. I spent so much money on my collection that to send it off and not get it back the way I got it is the reason I don’t trust sending it out to be graded. I prefer keeping them in a binder. Maybe down the road I change my mind but for now I just don’t trust the grading process at all.
Very helpful video. Quick question though - regarding the address to send to ( FedEx or USPS), you said that "they'll let us know". How will they let us know? After we pay on the website? In other words, where do we get an accurate shipping address?
I’ve watching a few people talk about how to submit to grading companies, but there is one thing no one ever mentions. The idea of getting sequential graded cards, for example the the order you submit to the grader and the order you enter into the system, does that matter, or just submit the only cards you want in sequential order? For example the Charizard evaluation line from 151, and hope to get all in 10’s and as a set, can it up the $ value. It’s something I wanted to do with a few cards like the yunagabe eeveelution set.
This was pretty informative. Thank you. One suggestion/question- if you’re only submitting one card at a time you obviously won’t need a box to send it to them. Maybe do an addendum ?
im trying to do a bunch of cards rn at once for the first time and i subed to them so i see different options like Trading Card Game (TCG) and Non-Sports Bulk for 14.99 vs the regular one you picked being the value 1980-present for 18.99 , is the Trading Card Game (TCG) and Non-Sports Bulk for 14.99 just the same but a better price? cause i subbed?
Just submitted an Umbreon V alt art that I pulled back when evolving skies first came out. Kept putting it off to get graded, now its on the way! Thank you so much!
I keep seeing $15.00 USD for submission on the webpage. So why is it when I go to actually submit an order, the cheapest option I have is about $25.00?
Would a bubble mailer also be okay to use to send the card that I want graded or would it be better to use bubble wrap and a box like you showed in the video?
So I found some cards from my childhood collection. Including a base set 2 charizard. It’s not in pristine condition but I’m thinking maybe an 8. I was considering sending it in. Partially for value and sentimental in case I decide to keep it. Do you guys think it would be worth it value wise to sell? New to this
@@PokeVault8 thank you 🙏🏼. so if I think my Blastoise from 151 will grade a 9 I put $50 in the “declared” value because thats a rough estimate of wat it wld go for at that price correct?

What did it come back as?
what grades did ya get?
or are they still being graded
You skipped the part where you have to pack the cards in the same order you listed them on the order sheet.
I was honestly going to give this a try until I saw the total amount for shipping was nearly $40. That's crazy
not much tbh, u get value back from the graded cards?
the shipping is wild, and then you gotta insure the package as well so thats another $15+ on top of the shipping

can you use only penny sleeves and toploaders to grade it? just wondering
Kinda want to grade a single card now…. Hmm 🤔 thanks Vault!! Thanks PSA too!
That ‘graded value’ claimed is a double edged sword. The higher value will sometimes increase the fees for the submission alone
if u send in a 80$ card and if it gets a 10 and is valued at 1000$, why would u care about a 10$ markup

No more sticky, and you can absolutely sandwich them between cardboard
I’m pretty sure the cut the card savers open instead of risking pulling them out, so the pull tabs wouldn’t be of use
