I've wanted to can all my life. Neither my mother or grandmother cooked. I feel so blessed to have come across your channel. I'm not one to follow anyone really, but you are my new favorite cooking channel. You and Mr. Brown are just the most lovely people... Thank you for all that you've shared. I will become a much better cook bc of your channel, that I'm sure.

When canning, the only sound I like better than the jiggler is the little ‘ping’ of a jar sealing. Thank you for another great video-I will definitely be doing this soon. Melody B in NC

Just made turkey noodle soup from turkey canned with this recipe, and your seasoning is so perfect, I had to take a moment to thank you, Lori! When I made my soup, I added some broth to cover about 1/2 # of my homemade noodles, a handful each of frozen corn kernels and frozen peas. So hearty and good! Your seasoning ratio is perfect, and I'm going to make up some ahead, label it "Ms Lori's Chicken Spice," and keep it on my shelf. I use my Carey canner, which holds 5 pts. Turkey was .99 per lb, and I made extra broth from bones. I encourage everyone to try this canning recipe. Thank you, Lori!

Thank you. When I use a jar of canned food, I boil for 10 minutes.
Do you ever just open a jar of your canned chicken and use it for chicken salad straight out of your jar and not heated up? I'm fairly new to canning and you know the concerns for food safety we beginners have. Thank you
I can hardly wait to also make one of your rolled cakes for Christmas. That video was also fantastic

Please post how to make your chicken pot pie? I have already canned chicken, carrots and celery. Just make them into a cream sauce and put in a crust?

About a month ago, I canned chicken using this method. I am new to canning. I have learned watching your channel and RoseRed Homestead. So far I have canned this chicken, Stew meat and ground beef. Also, some dry beans and potatoes following your instructions. They have all turned out very good. Til today! I opened up my jar of chicken and it had what looked like black mold on the lid. And a little spot on top of the chicken. It was about a 3/4 inch circle. right near the rim. The lid was sealed tight. I threw it away. So far all my other jars have been fine. It scared me though. Do you know why this would have happened? Thanks. I also made a pan of your onion cornbread this week to go with my jar of dry beans. It was good. The family loved it. My granddaughter kept saying Nawna this cornbread is really good!

I started putting my dry seasoning in the middle found when I had it on the top I had more fails on sealing. Though maybe it was the spices.

Hi Lori. I like using the pint jars for meat with just husband and I here now. Although when the kids lived at home I canned more meals than anything!
I was wondering, and thought you might know, if you get the benefits of bone broth if canning bone in chicken in qts at the 90 minutes? I usually cook the bones by themselves 24 hours when making bone broth.

I have a question, everything I have read and seen about raw pack chicken is not to put any fat in jar because it may affect how the jar seals, I see that you have fat in your jars, have you ever had any trouble ? Thanks love your channel

You asked me what kind of stove I have. I have a glass top and I called Mirro Company and they do not recommend my using their product on a top such as mine
