    I personally think that ppl were hungry for another superstar like a Beyoncé for our generation and put the comparisons on Chloe because..it was easy. However, when Chloe didn’t do what they wanted(become a black pop girlie fully) then they quickly turned her off. Add that to her ways of promoting herself and marketing tactics that came off as inauthentic and cringe to ppl didn’t help. Now it’s clear she’s been trying to find her musical direction that gives her what she wants from a music career…but it hasn’t been working unfortunately for her. Ppl just had way too high expectations of Chloe even before she went solo and Chloe couldn’t meet them because it was unrealistic

    I think Chloe gonna be just like Sabrina and Doja Cat once she leaves that label, she can start getting more success she been looking for

    Chloe trust Beyonce more than her ACTUAL listeners so let Beyonce the only one consume her content.

    Her and Halle need to get back together for like 3 more albums.

    Chloe needs to find a balance between finding a hit and showing her actual talent/vocal ability.
    I’d actually say Boy Bye was a step in the right direction.

      That sound fits her more than the ratchet r&b tbh. She is a fun needy girl at heart and her music should reflect that

    • @alkahinat4558
      @alkahinat4558 5 วันที่ผ่านมา +6

      Songs like Somebody and Never Let You Go really fit her too
      Tbh I really liked In Pieces though, it was experimental with a 2000’s feel (her songwriting actually reminds me of Ashanti)
      I always say this, but this isn’t the best time to be a really talented artist, popularity is winning over everything

    Chloe needs to hone her personality, reflecting on her music and walk her lane which is finding that sound which screams her then people will buy into it.

    I feel sorry for Chloe because the label is punishing her for something they didnt do! They barely promoted her first album and even made her redo the entire project. Her album was supposed to come out after Treat Me while the hype of Have Mercy was still there. Instead it came out a whole year later after the hype died down. Also Beyonce kept telling her to push the wrong singles and she had several songs and collabs that didnt even get released. She had several songs on both albums that could have been hits but the label refuses to give her radio play for some reason. She doing everything she can by going on live, making tik toks, and doing interviews. She doing her part, the label is the one being lazy by not guiding her in the right direction. They only gave her one chance to find success until they completely gave up on her which is completely unfair 🤦🏽‍♀️

    Good evening: Chloes career is not over at all. In order for her to be big pop star like Sabrina Carpenter, she just needs to think smarter. All the work is done. Get her own brand go off of that. Just let things fall into place. Like they say " Let they bricks fall where the may " things take time.

    Beyoncé signed Chloe and Halle so she can sabotage their career where they are stuck and can’t sign with another label. She’s saving the spot for Blue Ivy

    In 2022: "Chloe & Normani are the next Beyoncè" while Break My Soul/Renaissance was #1!
    In 2001: "Aaliyah & Mya are the next Janet Jackson" when All For You was #1!

    • @Essence-v4c
      @Essence-v4c 5 วันที่ผ่านมา +4

      Aaliyah went number one with try again and mya went number one with lady marmalade and won her first grammy in the year 00. They were all doing big things regardless of silly comparisons

    • @TGF25
      @TGF25 5 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      @@Essence-v4c Yes, but my point is, how can they sell us on Aaliyah & Mya being "The Next Janet" when All For You by Janet is #1 in 2001 & the album sold 600k 1st week, the biggest 1st week of her career, Bigger than Control, Rhythm Nation, Janet & The Velvet Rope? 🤔

      Aaliyah and Mya both came out in the 90's tho. Janet was one of the artists that ruled the charts in the 80's, 90's and 2000's. Aaliyah was apart of the trinity with Brandy and Monica. Mya came out around 97/98. Janet was in The Velvet Rope era. Aaliyah came out in 94 during Janet's Janet era.

    Oh, there were moments where talent and hard work shone through, but it was never the focus. It's body/identity politics looks and fitting the aesthetic the majority of Americans want to consume right now. As I black person it burns me to say this, but we are going to be seeing a lot of 'conventionally' attractive thin white and white Adjacent biracial/light skinned musicians flourishing for the next five years. Beyonce although very talented and hardworking, rose to fame in a VERY IGNORANT (Racist) time people are forgetting how much her proximity to whiteness (blonde wigs, light skin, light eyes), pretty privilege and upper middle-class background protected her. The president has started up the time machine and if black artists want to survive the next few years they're going to have to put on a blonde wig, be skinny or slightly more 'modest' and talk a lot about God. Basically, become Dolly Parton but modest lowkey what Beyonce is doing. There has been this aggressive trend towards Traditional American values ie thinness, whiteness and Christian fundamentalism as if Americans are sick of being politically correct, body positive, inclusive and tolerant. So, the pendulum is swinging in the other direction prepare yourselves. it's not just going to be in politics it's gonna be media too.

    Chlöe has always been Chlöe! If you actually look at videos of Chlöe when she was younger, she's always been a passionate artist. I believe that Chlöe and Bey just have things in common, and not that Chlöe is copying her. They both are workaholics who are extremely talented. Nothing about Chlöe really gives off copycat. People use the Bey comparisons as a way to belittle Chlöe's talent. Bey don't create beats or do plenty of things that Chlöe can do. Also, Chlöe never mentioned Bey like that. Interviewers ask about Bey and Chlöe answers.

    No the comparisons didn’t ruin her career… Victoria Monet also got Beyoncé comparisons… yet she’s thriving - what ruined her career was roc nation taking her under their wing and then shelving her that’s what ruined her career

    B pushed chloe to compete with normani to kill both their careers. She also poached normanis old manager brandon. Bought his management and tanked normani through the betrayal of her team.

    Chloe Bailey and Normani must try making either Amapiano or Afrobeats music to save and escalate their careers. Amapiano and Afrobeats are global genre that are dominating the global music industries even Dj Snake🐍🐍 is profiting from the two genre. Or the sista can make Reggaeton. 🤔🤔 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️ 🥱🥱 😴😴 💭💭 💵💵

    It’s funny you posted this because today a Chloe song came on in the playlist and my mum was like, oh that’s Beyoncé right?
    My mum has a really good ear so I was like really listen…their voices are completely different and then she was like maybe it’s the style?
    So my conspiracy theory is that Beyoncé put juju on Chloe so that she stays in her shadow
    Chloe is like a Lauryn Hill/Kelis kind of artist, she has the capacity to be really big but yet…if you sign with an artist who you can be compared to, I guess only one can be permitted to win.
    I also found out today that I’m in the top 0.3% of Chloe listeners on TH-cam, which is really cool 😊❤

    That’s why u should Neva signed to and active artist label I think both needs to leave she so talented I seen her live I was blown away it never good sign with someone ur similar I think Beyonce saving a spot for blue at first Beyonce was promoted them years ago they stayed in the ivypark commercials she brought them on tour full time as the opening act but she did support then when Chloe had her Coachella set Beyonce was there and she also supported Hallie little mermaid too so I think 🧐 bey is more want to keep them to herself rather than them going elsewhere Chloe can be huge and bey holding her back as for Hallie bey not that worried about her like she is Chloe because they compare her so much to Beyoncé I think chole needs to completely leave the aesthetic of Beyonce alone because no they comparing Victoria Monet to Beyoncé and if she was signed Beyonce I think he career would not blossom like it is now
