Actually I think there’s two companies using the Selmer name. When Selmer bought out Conn, they eventually broke that off as Selmer USA. I think their models (e.g., La Voix II) are made in Asia. The home company is referred to as Selmer Paris, which I believe their models are all French made. I believe the Reference 54 is made by Selmer Paris as their modernized version of their famous Mark VI (though a lot of other companies sell Ref 54 models
