London has a ticketing system that is easy to use and up to date. Have you ever been on the tube lol I don’t think London and cities in Germany have ‘third world transport systems’

Yeh both lanes are open however the left hand lane was being used for searching as canary wharf is a private estate and vehicles being search is a condition of entry. The officer was only waving him to go straight through instead of him being held up by the bus.

There are 32 boroughs, plus the City. The big factor is £££ - you will need a LOT, and I mean a LOT of £££ to get by in London. If you want to be close to the hustle and bustle of the central city, the borough of Westminster is an obvious choice, but you will need £2 million plus for a house, or £2500/month plus to rent a small 2BR flat in a nice neighbourhood. I live in the orbital region just outside of London, which is very handy if you don't mind a 45-minute train ride into the city, and can rent a 2BR flat for £1100/month or buy a small house for £350k. Good luck and enjoy London! (Bring £££££££££ ;) )

London is way nicer than Paris. London has a great mix of classical architecture mixed with modern and contemporary. London actually looks like a combo of Paris and New York. The classical architecture is simply unmatched by any other city in the world. Paris has a lot of classical architecture, in fact far too much, and it isn’t as nice looking a those found in London, nor as robust looking. But I have to say that La Defense, the skyscraper district of Paris is nicer than Docklands seem here in this video. For one, Docklands is far too white. la Defense has a better layout, a mix of traditional looking and modern skyscrapers, with a more homely feel to it.
You would swear you were in downtown of some big american city.Its also good the streets are in some type of grid system instead of going off in 20 different directions like you usually see in european cities.

The area in its current form is roughly 30 years old but has expanded in the last decade and a half.

You get used to that I had to when I moved to the states.
It’s easy as long as there is traffic to follow. You can get easily confused if driving empty streets at night especially at roundabouts
