@@andremauboussin2705 thanks! Runs really good now. Has a 550 hp 408 stroker in it. I loved that 360 with the whiplash cam. For the money it was a ton of fun!
i can say now i have a 340 stock bottom end stock cam upgraded intake and crarb and it ribs its been rebuilt once all oem and it is awsome it just eats 4 speed to tear the rear tires up
I had mine in I think for *7 yrs,* but both the cam & lifters went "bad"(?)...I don't know, I just drive 'em, but my mechanic said they did so. I waited & waited for a retro fit, hydraulic cam/lifter kit to come in (Comp Cam), but they never could produce 'em. _Soooooo,_ he put the Whiplash cam/lifter kit in again just a few days ago. I had him put the *B&M* pro-ratchet shifter in too. Should be nice...gettin' it back in just two days.
Sounds and runs good brother I am in the middle of putting a 360 in my 86 shourt bed but my 360 is a 72 360 and iv got a factory four barrel intake I'ma put on it with a quderjet carb would that cam work for my set up
@@Donnie-p4f definitely! Just make sure you install it 100% to the instructions and overlook all of the parts really well. USE THEIR MATCHING VALVE SPRINGS!!!! You will drop a valve with out the correct springs. I learned the hard way.

@@michaelhoneycutt7138 I believe the 5.9/5.2 magnum roller whiplash cams are a lot more mild than the flat tappet version so if you have a roller motor it might still be a good option.
Anyway I could get in contact with you? I’m building a 360 magnum for my 88-d150 and I’m kinda looking for some guidance. It would be greatly appreciated.
@@MrJustinBurch the truck had a bad booster so the brakes always sucked. I have a 408 in the truck now with an even bigger cam with a new booster and the brakes are better than they ever were so I would imagine this cam would do okay with it.
@@joe-hp4nk it’s cut for low compression engines and is made to close the intake valve early and increase the cylinder pressure. I believe they say 8.6:1 is the max they recommend on it. I've had a whiplash for a year, winter is setting in & I'm doing a cam swap. Nice content.

Please do a video about your 46rh transmission swap!!! I plan on doing the same to my 81 d150
Sounds good! I should be able to make something for it! Surprisingly was a really easy swap.
Went ahead and just uploaded a video about the transmission for you. Hope it answers some of the questions you had!
cant be much different than my 93 d150.
Love mine in a stock 400.
Can you link for the rockers & push rods

I like the seats and steering wheel! What transmission do you have in it?
It’s a 46RH. It’s from a 95 Dodge Ram with a 5.9 magnum. It’s been great! It’s basically a 727 with over drive and a lock up converter.
