Nice choices, Mine stays pretty simple, I love the first 4, with my ranking being 2-1-3-4, but aside from liking and having Wes Craven's New Nightmare, The franchise is over after number 4. I really have no fun with anything after number 4. Not being a loyalist too much I don't even own any of the films except 1-4 and New Nightmare. Great touch on each film.

Solid list. I agree with most of it. My ranking would be:
1. Original (masterpiece)
2. New Nightmare (amazing)
3. Dream Warriors (great)
4. Freddy’s Revenge (great)
5. Dream Master (good)
6. Freddy vs. Jason (just okay)
7. Remake (just okay)
8. Freddy’s Dead (bad)
9. Dream Child (bad) - bottom for me because I find it so boring

Best to worst: 1, 3, 7, 2, Vs, 4, 6, 5.
Although I do like all of them, even the derided Freddy's Dead I find endlessly watchable in a 'so bad, it's good,' way.
Except the remake, which is an abomination and I don't count as being part of the Freddy films.
