I've been following a lot of your videos, like many others about London and the rest of the UK. I've enjoyed the quality of your video photography with the brilliance of the color (colour) balances. As an audio engineer, I've had some concern over the quality of the some of your earlier sound tracks with level drops, change in equalization and some other issues. But I have to say, your recent videos have greatly improved with better audio tracks. Your videos are now even more enjoyable to 'see' and 'hear'. Keep up the good work.
Thank you very much! I'm still quite new to making videos, so you are seeing me learning in real time here! My partner very kindly gave me a new (and much better!) microphone for my birthday, which I think helps a lot. I didn't realise just how bad my audio was until I heard the difference haha. But thank you so much for your kind comment, I hope I can make the next one as enjoyable
Seeing The Mousetrap is definitely on my bucket list if/when I get to London in the next few years. I had the opportunity to play one part, Christopher Wren, in a community theatre production in 1983, and again as Mr. Paravcini in a different community theatre production in 2014, but I really want to go see the London production.
Oh wow that sounds so fun! It would be a completely different experience seeing it from the seats if you do get the chance to go, so still worth it even if you do know the story!
Hi Siobhan - I think that was your most fun video yet. I've never seen The Mousetrap, but I've wanted to go for a long time. My mum saw it some years back and wasn't impressed. I saw the price on your ticket and was shocked - but a little less so, once I realised it was for four people. Thanks so much for sharing your wonderful videos with us!
Hi David, thank you so much, that means so much! I can appreciate the prices point, I couldn't justify it either bar for a special occasion. But I agree, the sticker shock was real but could justify it for the four of us plus some bubbly haha. I know if you go you'd have a good time. I hope my next video can live up to this!
@@siobhanbrewer I think a big part of the reason for your videos getting better, is because of the improved production quality (sound, pictures, narration etc), not just the content which is, of course, really enjoyable.
