Had a chance to get a Koto kit for a reasonable price. While the overall quality is nice I'm starting to feel a bit spoiled on some of the releases from the Chinese manufacturers.
I just picked up a bottle of Panel Liner too! Trying it for the first time. I had to go back and get the x-20 enamel thinner also to clean up the lines. This kit looks cool, I'm not too familiar with Alice Gear but i might get one (possibly if I find a sale lol). I'm still branching out and trying mecha musume kits from different manufacturers, I don't mind paying a bit more for a Kotobukiya kit if it really resonates with me, but it's also great that there's so many other options out there too.
I had a few issues with the joints on a few kits I got, I put superglue into the joint while rotating it for a couple of seconds and that seemed to tighten everything!
They aren't that bad, just take a bit of time, especially if they've got lots of gear all over them. If they're a good price, at the very least building one can be an interesting experience!
Going to eventually play our copy of it as well... along with Doomed and about a half dozen other rulesets sitting on my shelf that have yet to be properly played!
I'd assume it's probably one of the Susano- oh models, right? I saw one recently and it was pretty ridiculously large, all things considered. Then again I'm constantly getting these newer Chinese kits in the mail with absolutely chonkers of boxes, and the models are just as large, so it's taking a bit more to phase me these days!
Technically they're both Megami Device kits, but yeah- I asked my son who plays Alice Gear Aegis and he reminded me she was the one with the big mech booster armor. You're right, that one is pretty darn big- came across it at a Surugaya once.

A local store sells tons of these kits, I think they look super cool, but putting them together scares me.

That's probably Cho Niu, The Ox Blacksmith from MS General. She came out a few years ago but she's probably available somewhere on the internet.
Dude her box isn't the biggest yet in Alice Gear Aegis
