I am starting to become ashamed of the way we in the West, demonize China, how we are supposed to 'de-couple' how can the world learn to live in peace and understanding, we live in one world, we are all stars in this constellation. But for some reason there are those that seek to divide us - divide and conquer, that must be their intention. I cannot understand why we are supposed to deny ourselves the wonders of the world and its people simply because some politician tells us to. I have been to China and I encourage anyone to visit themselves if they possibly can.
In the today chaotic world, at least there still are places in China with many beautiful sceneries, so peaceful and very safe for people to enjoy the unique and beautiful nature wonders ! Thank China ! 🎉🎉🎉

The fact is not like that. I was born in a remote mountainous area of Dazhou, Sichuan. Our village only had electricity in 1992. When we were young, we had to cross several mountains to get to school, which took about 2 hours. At that time, some children had no shoes to wear and could only wear shoes made of grass. Every April, we could only eat potatoes or sweet potatoes because rice could only be harvested in August. We only had meat to eat when guests came to our home and during the Spring Festival. At the age of 6, I entered elementary school and had to mow the grass (to feed pigs and cows) after school. Families with grandparents didn't have to cook, but if there were only parents, children would have to cook because our area is a typical mountainous area where parents work outside. You can't imagine that kind of poverty. Last Spring Festival, I returned to my village and talked to some elderly people about our past lives. We couldn't believe that there would be such a big change in 30 years. Almost all young people bought houses in the city because there are better educational resources for children. And many elderly people returned to the village because the government provided housing subsidies, and they rebuilt two-story small western-style houses. In 2008, cement roads were built in the village, and now we call it the "new countryside". The government funded the construction of biogas digesters, solar street lights, and internet for each household. Therefore, many elderly people choose to return to the countryside. These elderly people cannot believe that most families have cars, because 30 years ago, bicycles were luxury items for our village. This is why the Chinese people will support the Chinese government, rather than the lack of freedom described by the western media. Only when you have truly experienced that difficult and impoverished life, do you know how difficult life is now.
Travel with my wife alone without guide, i most say its very safe to travel compare to other countries i have been to. I will even say china is one of the saftest place to travel for foreigne really. Meeting alot of people that want to help, even most of them didn speak english. I am from europe and the media in my country dont really have much good to say about china, but in reality if you take the trip to china and you really see with your own eyes. I dont really know how to explaining it, but very beautiful country and nice.
