Thank you so much for this video. I love how you print it in mirror it looks so much easier to place onto the cup this way. I was struggling with doing it the other way.
Just picked some of this stuff up and will be first time doing a mug. Thanks for clear instructions and won't be guessing when it comes time doing the project. Cup of positivity is great!

Hi thanks for all the tips!! After the image is on my tumbler you said i didn't have to seal it again but I could put some Crystal Lac. What is the Crystal Lac for? Would it be OK if I didn't use it?

I'm newer to waterslides. I sealed really well with clear spray and plastidip. The waterslide paper is more matte and shows cloudy. It is very obvious where the paper is on my project. Will this all not be cloudy and disappear when I add the epoxy?
This is a beautiful cup! I came across your channel looking how to apply waterslide! Im very new at this! & it just so happened I actually ordered the Hayes waterslide paper! I do have a question, i have a swirl cup i did and added white spot with spray paint. Do i need to seal it before applying my waterslide? Or can i just apply the waterslide direction onto the white spot? Thank you!
Hi Courtney! I havent used Hayes waterslide papers yet, but how come you can apply the sticker face down? Isnt that the side with the clear and all, and isnt the adhesive on the other side? Would love to know, thanks :)
@@CourtneysCustoms Thanks for the reply and information! :) I just bought some Hayes paper to try out, but I am having this issue with printing. Would love to know if you have a quick solution. My printer leaves scratch marks all the time and sometimes the print is totally unusable. My printer back feed uses wheels that make contact with the ink on the paper and leave marks, and my front feed keeps bumping into curved or elevated surfaces on the paper, scratching the ink. Do you know how this can be solved? Thanks

No, but you need to epoxy it
How many times did you spray your image with the sealant?
Once
Do you seal your tumbler before applying your waterslide? If so what do you seal it with?
Not in this case. If it was a glitter tumbler I would epoxy until smooth. But this one I just applied the water slide over dried spray paint
