Someone there has the same disease as me… I worked at a library and got in trouble for organizing the “hot picks” display by color because a patron complained that it made it more difficult to choose a book. It looked friggin’ amazing, though
I went to my local tjmaxx and they didn’t have the retinol one from advanced clinicals. They had one with vitamin c and turmeric and then one with hyaluronic acid and then another with collagen. For now I went with the vitamin c and turmeric. Going to skip the one with collagen since topical collagen doesn’t do anything if I’m not mistaken correct?
@@DrDrayzday Curious if you've ever been stopped in stores for wearing a backpack or hoodie with the hood up. I saw that in earlier posts. I wore a backpack into Walmart the other day because I bike commute. Oh boy, did I get stopped and asked to empty out my bag and had my picture taken on the staff's personal cell phone outside. IDK if this is an issue in your area.
@@heatherduke7703 I can't see how that would make books hard to navigate. Although, Banana Republic used to do this. All sizes lumped together, all styles lumped together, and organized by color. Made it HARD to find my size.
I’ve watched you since I was 19, so it’s been about 5 years or so. I have been telling my new roommate about you and playing your videos as we brush up for bed or do our skin (since I got him to start doing skincare thanks to you teaching me all that I know !) and it feels great because we both find it’s way more relaxing than we ever realized, now that we know what we’re doing ;)

I do enjoy a TJ Maxx shopping trip. A small one opened around Christmas about 20 minutes from me and I was so excited! Lol! I live pretty far from most stores so it doesn't take much. Has proven to be wonderful but dangerous too! I rarely buy any skin care there but I do buy hair products, clothes and things for my home. Dr. dray, Blueland soap you picked up at TJ’s. I use some of their cleaning products and some I don’t. The hand soap I do not use- very drying and my hands really itch.

Simple body wash aggravated my eczema. It caused my skin to become dry, itchy, scaly and hyper-pigmented.
When we're talking about vitamin E allergy from skincare, are we talking tocopherol, or tocopheryl acetate, more specifically? Because I noticed that foundations, moisturizers, concealers, etc, with tocopherol in them, break me out (with very small surface pimples). However, tocopheryl acetate is perfectly fine. There is a difference between them, in terms of comedogenic potential, so I've always thought that was the reason why tocopherol upsets my skin

Dr.Dray, how to you determine if a product actually will be effective when it touts retinol, vitamin c, etc? If the amounts or percentages aren’t listed, how can you know if it actually has an effective amount of actives?

🙋♀️ I find a very nice serum in TK maxx in Germany. It is Biomed biotox it mimics the viper snake venom. Could you say your opinion on it? I have sensitive skin but it does not irritate me I can even put it around my eyes. I wasn’t expecting any special results but this surprise me I really see the difference after using
I love the idea of essential oil diffusers but I’ve heard that many oils can cause respiratory irritation in dogs. Not worth the risk!
Yes, also aerosols such as dry shampoo, certain cleaning products. 🐾 🐶 😺 🐦 🦜 🐁 🐇
