Its not about physical appearance. God sees the heart and the motive and not the outward appearance. Look at the story of the Pharisee that gave a lot of money and an old woman who only gave 2 talents. The people marveled at the Pharisee for giving a lot but God saw past that and said that the old woman gave more then the Pharisee because she gave everything she had. God does not condemn, we should therefore not judge and condemn for the same measure will be placed unto you.

Okay, I know who the UPC is. When it comes to oneness that's a confusing topic because even oneness people admit to their being a father, a son, and spirit. You can say they're all one and the same, but that's what trinitarians say too... "God from God, light from light. One in being (consubstantial)." Where you run into trouble is in saying that the three are one because the bible clearly speaks in terms of three. It's hard to square the commandment to believe that God is one.
