Great song, one of my favourites. I remember as a kid, being depressed and hating the world. This song gave me a little spark of hope that would give me relief from my depressing life with lyrics like "Jesus is coming soon, we'll be going home" I.e, away from my depressing life.
The song also validated my depressing view of my world that I didn't belong anywhere. I.e, the lyrics "This world has nothing for me".
