Ratchet and Clank: Going Commando Insomniac museum was a cool one back on the PS2. Set your clock to 3:00 AM to unlock a teleporter to a developer area showing unfinished models and hearing a voiceover of the development process. Not open world, but one that I think would be cool to see more.

You can also reach the Insomniac museum from a grind rail. You need to get hit and hover over to a platform

Man the mass fusion building is awesome in Fallout 4. I’ve been playing this game for years and I’m still overwhelmed. There are so many secret areas that I haven’t found yet. I never get tired of exploring in the fallout games 😎👍🏼

Actually there is another way to get to that room on console without the jet pack. Grab a trash can or enamel bucket look down and move back towards the wall. quicksave once you get to the second floor. You’ll fail a couple times but with enough patience you’ll get there that’s how I always do it!
People shit on fallout 4 so much, but it is actually a good game. We just can't compare it too harshly to New Vegas
@@sheldonjplanktonn New Vegas is awesome but honestly I prefer 4. I don’t hate NV, I’m just not a big Las Vegas guy(i do love the Elvis missions though). Plus the Captain America origin story & the return of Liberty Prime is a bonus for me. Each Fallout game has pros and cons in their stories
UPDATE OOPS I WAS TALKING ABOUT FALLOUT 76 MY BAD😅👍🏻. You probably know this but try get a quad assault rifle, they are Awesome in Fallout and again you probably know this but check out the videos for double resources at bases😁🇬🇧👍🏻
A trick with Eventide island is to take a raft there. As soon as you reach the island stay on the raft. Drop weapons on the raft and then step onto the island. If done correctly the quest will trigger and you can just pick up what you dropped to make for an easier time completing the challenge.

I loved finding the Fallout 4 secret area, I actually managed to do it without the jetpack using the bucket glitch where you could hold a bucket at your feet and back up to a wall, the game would treat the bucket as if you were lifting it up thus moving you and the bucket up the wall. This was a nest trick that was super fun to abuse getting to a far height when fighting tougher enemies.

I actually really loved the first Rage. Everything but the ending was done really well. I also loved the second one. The Rage and Shadow Warrior series are both super underrated in my opinion.

Yeah im with ya on Rage - I thought the FPS combat was great - having to know which bullets to use and which were effective - also you had to ration your assets effectively.
The first game was awesome until I realized the second half of the game was all of the same levels just navigated in reverse
At 5:00 minute, the “I’m laughing” was very convincing, Falcon! 😂
As for the final fantasy XV ruins you are granted arguably three of the best items in the game one of them though is extremely obscure I spent about 4 hours exploring the ruins my first through and got every single last item in the dungeon hell I have every single item in the entire game other than one specific item that you can only get from the 100 floor dungeon that you're not allowed to use healing items in

@@AdanRayner yeah this is way before they had a way of doing that trust me I checked it also doesn't help by accidentally jump down thinking I had to go that way not realizing it was a old checkpoint almost all the way at the beginning
@@bentheninjaboo yeah I explored it for an hour or so before getting stuck and looking it up. Loved that dungeon where you couldn't use items though, I mean the game is crazy easy, and that added some difficulty.
@@AdanRayner I normally play on higher difficulties but there's actually a way to cheat that dungeon if you did the ruins there's an item for ignes that when your health drops below 50%, he automatically uses I think it's either an elixir or a high potion
In the eventide island one, you can still use your champion abilities if you have completed the divine beasts, which makes it a whole lot easier.
That Fallout 3 easter egg always self destructs for me whenever I walk inside the store.
The Haligtree is such a cool location, but holy shit the difficulty there spikes up to the next level

@@Space_Noise as i got there after 2 weeks since the release i prepared for the worst. But the funny thing is Bleed was so broken at the beginning i first tried Malenia. Without bleed it would have been a Nightmare.
Love hidden secrets in open world games, makes it so worth while to find it, especially if you do without guides and figure it all out by yourself. Gives you a feeling of finally completing everything!

Played FO4 3 times over... Didn't even know about about that area. Those legs would've come in handy in a bunch of areas in the game

Honestly, landing the car to get to the secret platforming dungeon in FFXV was a bigger pain in the A than the dungeon itself.
Used an item glitch on consoles for fallout 4 to get to that secret area.
Got it really really early, very useful.

It's nice to see the pitious ruins getting some love. It was awesome. I always felt there should have been a trophy associated with it's completion simply so people actually give it a chance cause it was quite the experience
I did not know what I was getting myself into when I entered Pitioss. After a lot of trial & error, puzzle solving and screaming I eventually finished it. It was interesting that the whole place, including the items, was an elaborately told story.

@@mohdkhairulanwar5131 an accessory that when equipped of you're not moving out will automatically dodge incoming attacks. However, when in combat are you not moving? It's not a good accessory. The real treasure is the satisfaction of finishing, cause it's awesome 😎

The FFVX dungeon almost broke my soul. You can’t save, so if the power blinks while you’re playing , you have to start all over again. I think it literally took me almost a week to beat it.
There's another secret room in Dying Light 2 that requires you to finish the VNC Tower quest chain - you take your glider and land on top of one of the adjacent skyscrapers, where there's a power cord point. You gotta connect about 4 of these in different descending floors, and at the terminus, you open up what looks like TechLand's dev room/space - nice little easter egg
I remember my first time through Pitioss, it took me SEVEN HOURS on my first try, didnt look up any spoilers either. Ive since have replayed XV several times and can clear Pitioss in like 15 minutes now, but sitll, that place it brutal, the biggest problem being is that FFXV wasnt exactly made for platofrming.

I Discovered it coincidentally and after entering the Dungeon Noctis said "Piece of cake"🍰 and I laughed every time he repeat this sentence 😂.It took me almost 7 hours to finish the Dungeon it was very Difficult 🙂 specially if you saved the game it will return you from the beginning outside the Dungeon.Why did I continue? and took me almost 7 hours one session? I don't know maybe because I Love FFXV this first game I played from the series and enjoyed every moment of the game, yeah there's issues with game like cutting ✂️ the original content there also bugs in the game and the most annoying thing I had is the jumping is broken Unaccurately. All these issues I put it behind my back and I don't care about it because I enjoyed every moment playing the main story specially using the Power of to annihilate the enemy, and enjoying the opera music at the final battle 🥹 oh poor Noctis and also the DLC story of Ardyn😢 😭

You don’t have to use any mods or a jet pack to get to this room are you have to use his one of the trash cans and you can climb the wall to get to this room to obtain the free fall legs

I loved how Eventide Island was inspired by my favorite Zelda game, Link's Awakening, and its Koholint Island setting.

I used the ice rune to get to Eventide Island. When close to the Island you can throw some weapons onto the island and pick them up after your stripped of equipment.

I didn’t save when I completed the FF15 dungeon and MAN I was upset about that. That freaking place was brutal

I remember that Fallout 3 unmarked location. Having to chug grenades up the hole the loot came down because the Magazine would often clip before falling and the only way to maybe make it drop was with more explosions and if it didn't work a Save reload as usual.
The reward for the pitioss ruins in ff15 is totally worth it though. I've seen a walkthrough of someone doing it in 6 mins. But it took me about 2 hours of trial and error even knowing what to do.
The guy on the cover of Elden ring is Vyke, who you fight as an invader and later as a boss in Mountain top of the giants. I wonder who falcon was referring to in the video? Malenia maybe?

I remember losing Dogmeat on my 1st playthrough of FO3 to that Rube Goldberg machine when the back the grocery store exploded. Don't remember the cause as to why I couldn't reload a previous save file but I did lose him forever on that savefile.
It's fun to watch waiting to see if any games I'm currently playing are listed. Or if I've discovered any of these. I may have stumbled upon one place in Rage. I'm currently enjoying Rage 2. Gotta be something hidden in there. 💪😁👍
So cheese makers in Poland were often compared to alchemist and magicians so the quest is in line with Witcher 3 historical roots.

The Tyromancer quest in Witcher 3 isn't really a hard to find secret. You can buy a quest item from the antique shop in Novigrad and get a journal entry, with a waypoint to guide you and everything.
I played that Witcher cheese mission. I dunno how I didn't notice the cheese or notice the name of the sword.
The fallout 3 one about the Rube Goldberg machine just reminds me of the halo forge one that came out all those years ago in reach.

Pitioss is soooooooo hard. I still have anxiety fits just thinking about it. It was a true accomplishment navigating through to the end and having your homies give you props when get back outside.
How is Eventide Island a secret? It's right there on the map when you scale Hateno Tower!
Gliding to it takes so many stamina upgrades that can be put towards heart upgrades for more balance between stamina and health.
You can reach it right after leaving the Great Plateau using the Cryonis rune from Soka Point or from Loshlo Harbor to Tenoko Island and using the raft there to take you the rest of the way.
When you get to Eventide it's just a glorified shrine quest.
I gotta mention the Minecraft area in Borderlands 2, that one shocked me when I found it and I always loved it 🤘🏼
The FFXV one is the best! Say what you want about XV but that game had amazing dungeons

Correction on the free fall legs, you can also use a wall glitch by holding an item and walk backwards into a wall. Managed to do it, but it's difficult.
Typically, I use a random trashcan. I do this on literally every run I play, because those legs are just so darned useful!!

For the hidden room in mass fusion I don't know if they patched it but I used the thing where you pick up a item jump on it and back in a wall you will basically climb the wall
Oh man that final fantasy dungeon is giving me spicey flash backs i was not prepared for that dungeon and it took me forever to finish it.

You missed a triick by not referring to the tyromancer as a Cheese Whiz-ard
Damn, that FFXV hidden area and for an item just for Noctis auto evade, took me hours just to freaking finish it.
I think I used the bucket method to get to the top of the tower in Fall Out 4; it's been some years though.
I actually thought the giant mazes in BotW were the most unique finds… they actually had a bit of a challenge in solving them too. Andddd for one of them an item that is indispensable for map movement :)

I've never heard of that secret cheese level in Witcher 3, but that's hillarious.
I noticed the minimap looks like cheese too from the layout and I highly doubt that's a coinsidence.
The Dying Light 2 DOOM level is also great for the easy-to-encounter bug that leaves your regular character with a nearly unlimited shotgun to use, haha. Definitely had to restrain myself from just killing everything left in the game with it when that happened to me
I found the scarecrow room completely by accident when I was trying to find where the hell nora freeze was.
Rage DLC was really cool!

I found #1 on my own just by accident, and the explosion almost crashed my Xbox 360... :P
A couple I found in Just Cause 2, which I'm sure can be looked up for more info. Everyone knows about the island from the show Lost, with the hatch and the smoke monster, and the dock in the city that references "I Am Legend". I have better ones than that. One is the hot air balloon hidden in a valley near the city. One is the bubble shooter in a tower on the southern shore. And one is the words "Banana Fail" written in bananas on the floor of the jungle, in the middle of nowhere.
I love FFXV, have it on 100%, never gona fish AGAIN. And this secret location, fun think I found totaly random. And ye it was hard but fun And creepy dungeon(i finish it). Man I gona play this game again for me it is one of my top game. And cant wait on FF7R second game and FFXVI

Hitman has a bunch of Easter eggs. For instance, if you walk a special way on the roof of Hokkaido hospital you can spawn Godzilla in the background of the map. There is also a Kraken in Sapienza and many more. Many I would've never found out about without research.
Maybe a video with goofy names would be cool although I think you'd need a whole series.
Might also mention the secret area on metal gear solid v the phantom pain's mother base medical unit. I'm surprised that some players still don't know about that room with the cutscenes as well as the secret room in the R&D unit.

You can reach the secret area in the mass fusion building without a jetpack on console. Find a barrel and item glitch your way up there. It isn't easy. But it's doable.
You can cheat eventide island but using Cryo to get over there and dropping the weapons you want on a cryo block just off the shore of the island and then when you get the cutscene and it strips your gear you can pick up those certain items.
