I normally buy anniplex sets as well but with rightstuf sale going on and Sentai filmworks just announced their black Friday sale my wallet is mad at me right now. Nice unboxing👍, mine arrived a few days ago as well and I also buy every single fate sets from aniplex as well since fate is what got me into collecting Blu-ray sets. Regarding the new aniplex preorders I preordered the sao and kaguya sama love is war, still debating on neverland. Aniplex set is expensive because their quality is the best and no where as expensive as aniplex japan where all anime is split into like 5+ sets and the price to get all the episodes will be like 2 or 3 times compare to aniplex of America so I think aniplex of America’s price is pretty fair tbh.

it's been a very long time (at least in my eyes) since I've bought any anime, I believe its been three years, I only recently started collecting again because of the black Friday sale. I came to check if you still made videos because most anime unboxing channels just suddenly stopped making videos or have gone completely silent. Keep up the great content dude.

Hah, I’m going to guess you were talking about Ponycan. They are in a similar situation as Aniplex. In that they are a Japanese company fighting Japan importing US releases. NIS America was also pretty harsh on pricing. That said, both seem to be all but done doing releases. Nice unboxing. Sorry again to hear about your HF1 copy. I’m just getting back from a business trip so I’m behind on unboxing my Silent Voice and HF2 sets. Keep an eye out on RS and Sentai Filmworks. Sales are already started!!
Also, with the semi-merging between AniplexUSA and Funimation, I wonder what direction they would end up going. Funimation titles becoming better quality and more expensive, or AniplexUSA titles becoming poor quality and cheaper. I want a happy medium tbh, but if it meant compromising BR quality, I’d rather them not touch it at all. That said, while I hate compromising quality, it’s hard to justify buying any non-action or Ufotable/Shaft shows at Aniplex pricing.
@@otakuspirit I'd say both Kill La Kill and Gurren Lagann also worth the price. Basically anime needs to be a favorite for me to buy from them, but sadly they have a lot of my favorite series lol. I still need to get Kill La Kill and Fate Zero now they have re-print for less money.
