Three Stone Emerald Cut Engagement Ring | Jewellery Making Tutorial | Goldsmith's Workshop Secrets

- This week's video is about the manufacturing of and emerald cut trilogy ring, housing three gorgeous lab-grown diamonds in my FAVOURITE metal - platinum.
It was quite a tricky one to explain so please bear with us, lots of hand gestures in this one but hopefully, the drawings Damia added in will help to fill in the gaps.
Do post any questions and we'll do a follow up or make a few shorts to answer where we can - we hope you enjoy the video!
We'll be doing another video on the setting of these emerald cuts, to add to our little setting series.

having been in the trade for the last 20+ years, most of that time was self taught, you're a absolute wealth of knowledge! always awesome seeing a slightly easier way to manufacture. love the content!
Self taught this side too - I’m glad you like the videos. We love making them.
Good job as always. I am not fan of emerald cut on diamonds but I like the ring design.
Also you know what would be nice? Workshop tour. I love to see how other goldsmith organise their workshop, what tools they use etc.
Thanks! Workshop tour yep. Just need to build a few more things and I’ll reveal it all.
Thanks for your efforts to make great videos. I learned a lot from you two!

Great workmanship! I keep telling my coworkers to solder critical components after tacking with a laser for security but unfortunately they have a lack of attention to craftsmanship.

I can’t imagine working with diamonds. They would get lost somewhere in my shed.
I love your files with the bevelled sides. What make are they?
how many hours did it take you to complete the setting and the shank? Great work as always 👍
